To be honest I am a little surprised at the 3.1/5 score as I thought my lunch experience was very good.
I dined with my colleague who was a guest at the hotel and selected the buffet option. My first thought was that for $35 per person it was superb value for money. The selection was not vast but it was more than adequate for lunch.
The seafood selection included chilli lime mussels and prawns. The mussels were fresh and tasty, and the prawns were decent sized. They were served cold although I didn't mind it so much.
There was a decent selection of salads and vegetables, as well as meat dishes including cooked fish, chicken, and roast beef/lamb. Soup and bread was available, as well...

Wir kamen in dieses Restaurant, um zum ersten Mal das Buffetabendessen zu haben. Es gibt eine sehr begrenzte Spurweite von Lebensmitteln. Die Selektion Meeresfrüchte war immer noch in Ordnung, aber es gab kaum heiße Gerichte. Die paar heißen Gerichte scheint, als saß es für Ewigkeiten, und sieht nicht sehr ansprechend aus. Der Service war absolut schrecklich. Das Restaurant war angemessen ruhig. Wir müssen sie nach etwas Wasser in der Schüssel fragen, damit wir unsere Hände nach dem Essen der Meeresfrüchte waschen und ständig bitten müssen, unsere benutzte Platte mit der ganzen leeren Hülle wegzunehmen. We came to this restaurant to have the buffet dinner for the first time. There have very limited range of food. The seafood selection was still okay but there were hardly any hot dishes. Couple of hot dishes seems like been sitting there for ages and doesn't look very appealing. Service was absolutely terrible. The restaurant was reasonably quiet. We have to asked them for some water in the bowl so we can wash our hands after eating the seafood and constantly having to ask them to take away our used plate with all the empty shell.

In diesem schönen Hotel, bin ich gestern von einem langen Tag von Meetings zurückgekommen und beschloss, das Abendbuffet zu haben. Ich bin schon mehrmals hier geblieben und hatte normalerweise ein tolles Essen in diesem Restaurant. Aber diesmal hätte das Essen in einem 3-Sterne-Hotel gut in einem 3-Sterne-Hotel geeignet sein, dieses 5-Sterne-Hotel. Die Garnelen waren sehr klein und extrem blass wie die Krabben. Die Wahl und die Qualität des Treffens waren arm. Die Wüsten waren überhaupt nicht sehr appetitlich und sahen aus. Die einzige sparende Gnade ist der Service, und die Leute waren sehr gut. Sieht aus, als würde das Management auf Kosten ihrer Gäste Penny eindringten.

Staying at this lovely hotel, I came back from a long day of meetings yesterday and decided to have the dinner buffet. I have stayed here several times before and normally had great food at this restaurant. But this time the food could have fit well in a 3 star hotel rather this 5 star hotel. The prawns were very small and extremely pale as were the crabs. The choice and quality of meet was poor. The deserts were not very appetizing at all and looked off. The only saving grace is was the service and people were very good. Looks like management is penny pinching at the expense of their guests.
Nicht zu schade, kam hier für ein Weihnachts-Mittagessen hierher. Einige Meeresfrüchtewahlen wie Garnelen, Chili-Muscheln und Krabben. Die Garnelen waren frische und chilli-Muscheln, die gut aromatisiert waren, aber diese Krabbe war geschmacklos. Wie für heißes Essen geliebt, die Rippen - zart, vom Knochen und gut mariniert. Das Sambal zuerst war auch großartig, alle anderen sind Standard mit Röstschinken und Hähnchen und den regulären Salaten und Beilagen. Desserts waren in Ordnung, Kuchen und Törtchen mit Eiscreme. Not too bad, came here for a Christmas lunch. Few seafood selections like prawns, chilli mussels and crab. The prawns were fresh and chilli mussels nicely flavoured, but that crab was tasteless. As for hot food, loved the ribs - tender, off the bone and well marinated. The sambal first was great too, all others are standard with roast ham and chicken and the regular salads and side dishes. Desserts were alright, cakes and tarts with ice cream. Decent feed.
