my son and I stumbled over this place, wow. great eating. if they do one like that and entice the insert and garnel. it's like $15 and was really good. the service to him was kind of weird. the server was great. the bus boy was strange. the type that cleansed the tables did not wear the blue hemd, the other workers wore and wore beautiful pants, so I first wondered what he did. he had a bus bucket and was clean and easy to shake the drinks into this bus tub and it was disgusting and slew. that was my only deactivation, but he was a nice guy. the people next to him who are sitting, begged to move closer to a door. I've been dining here for years, and the food is consistently delicious. The servers and hosts are always polite and knowledgeable about the menu, and the service is quick. While the building's atmosphere isn't my favorite and could use some remodeling, everything is always clean, even if it feels a bit old and dated.
Online, google business says they close at 9:30pm on Sundays. I arrived on a Sunday at 8:45pm and i was turned away by the manager because he said they are closed…. As i was leaving the manager saw that there is a Caucasian couple that just arrived and he let them in and gave them a table.
Food was okay it was like they got robbed the night before of all the seasonings. Everything was cooked frest though so it wasn't bad. I ordered the Texas fajitas and fell in love. The meat and shrimp were cooked just right, unlike other places that tend to overcook the food. I proudly recommend Monterey Mexican restaurant
We have passed this establishment many times and never stepped into it. The staff greeted us at the door. Great customer service. The atmosphere was great . The food was tasty.
My son and I get tacos and enchiladas and rice with cheese and it is his favorite meal of the week he said we should it every night
