This has been my family's go to restaurant as far back as I can remember and it is always every bit as good as I remember. I bring dates here as I find it's a good way to gauge whether or not we have similar tastes. The quality is consistent and reliable even the price of the nachos has hardly changed in 20 years! Staff are always friendly and the new location has freshened things up while keeping the classic Monty's feel.
We had a good meal, the table service was snappy. The menu is huge and a bit confusing, we would recommend the combination plates. The food was good and served really hot. The margaritas were great, the bar service was kind of awkward, I was lining up for drinks and my starter arrived. Modern classic California-ish Mexican. Solid 8/10. We will be back.
This restaurant in Burleigh Heads is without a doubt one of the oldest and finest. It tends to get extremely busy, so it's advisable to make a reservation in advance. However, you won't be disappointed - the food is exceptional.

My extended family love this place. I am not a big fan of Mexican cuisine, but the meatballs were good, and Mexican beer is good. The lady who looked after us was par excellance.
This is one of my top restaurants. The service is quick and fantastic. The lovely lady always waits on me. And I always order the nachos, they are probably my favorite...
Best taco and corn chips during my visit in goal coast and Brisbane! Shop owner is sweet and helpful even on a busy Saturday night . Will surely go back again !
