Just had a good day skiing Sunpeaks and was hungry and tired. Too tired to make supper so this was a good alternative. We have been here before but not since the Pandemic. Just as nice , clean pleasant as before. Food piping hot and lots of it. The combo meals are enough to take home for another lunch! Great servers. Very courteous, fast and wanting to please. It did not disappoint. Going back soon…or will it be takeout? They do it all. Love the North Shore location the best of all 3 locations in Kamloops.
I almost never eat out, or get take away anymore. As a person with Celiacs Disease, it is very important that I do not consume wheat, barely, or rye. I have been contaminated over and over at restaurants. Moon Wok, offers a gluten free combination meal, which is very enjoyable. Most importantly, they offer an understanding, and a careful approach to my situation. I very much appreciate the personal attention and care that I have been offered there. I am not afraid to enjoy their delicious food
My husband, myself along with our two daughters and their families all went to Moon Wok in North Kamloops for my birthday dinner. We’ve all gone there at least once a year for the last 10 years. The food as excellent and the staff and service was exceptional. They even brought me a birthday card signed by everyone working, it was such a nice surprise. We often eat at Moon Wok and would recommend it to everyone.
Gluten Free menu and separate items marked GF. They offer a combo plate all gluten free. The waitress noted on our order "gluten allergy". My dinner was brought out separately. The food was great! It was so good to eat Chinese food again. I had my own separate soy sauce. At the end of the meal, the waitress brought out fortune cookies and told me they were not gluten safe. Highly recommend

Just got into town and wanted some place within walking distance of our hotel. Decided to the Moon Wok. We watch had one of their one person combos. It was very good. The food was hot and tasty, with good portions. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Overall a great meal and an enjoyable atmosphere. We will be back net time we are anywhere near.
This chinese restaurant was so good and had gluten free celiac safe options! I had the gluten free combo (ribs, beef and veggies and stir fry) and didn’t feel sick. The gluten free items are marked clearly on the menu and the waiter knew what celiac disease was and reassured me that the kitchen took it seriously. Amazing!
Food was super good. I got the gluten free combo with rice. However be so careful if you order from the valley view location. Even though same company the valley view location has made me so sick every time. So if you’re going to order Chinese do so from the tranquille location!
Was there 4 times in August on the way to Vancouver and back. My favourite stop in Kamloops for Chinese food. Large portions esp. the combi plates. But even better is the serving staff.
