We make it a point to stay here once a year for a special occasion. We always book the best suite and indulge in the complete tasting menu with wine pairings. While it's not the cheapest option, it certainly feels worth every penny. The staff is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about every aspect of the experience. The menu focuses on local products, and they rely on their own gardens whenever possible. If you're looking for a fantastic evening with exquisite food, make sure to enjoy some excellent wines and cheeses while you're here. This place is hands down the best I've ever visited, even compared to places like Singapore and Monaco. Having such an establishment right at your doorst...
Experienced the Taster Menu last night…absolutely amazing from start to finish. I’ve never eaten in a restaurant like this before so a very special evening for me. The atmosphere was very relaxed which isn’t what I was expecting, thought it would be very pompous but it wasn’t and I felt very comfortable. The staff were wonderful and very tentative, nothing too much trouble. Only one little thing for me, I think one of the four desserts would have been better replaced with a cheese course. Thank you to everyone at Moor Hall for making it a very special birthday!
A few weeks ago, we had lunch at the barn, and I've been meaning to share how great it was ever since. I made the reservation months in advance, and unexpectedly added two more guests to our party. They were able to accommodate the change to a group of six just before the event, and I’m so thankful for that! The food and the atmosphere were fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the additional dishes offered for us to try. The service was efficient, friendly, and full of smiles. I can’t wait to return!
very good lunch in restaurant moor hall. enjoy the experience, through the gardens (where ingredients are cultivated) and through the kitchen to go to see how the food is prepared. eating was fantastic to finish at the beginning, would recommend as a treat. there are other 2 Michelin star places in the northwest, which I would probably say are better worth, but still a fantastic meal!
One of my favorite restaurants in Great Britain. It's a beautiful venue with creative cuisine that features delicate flavors and stunning textures, all made from local ingredients. The service is exquisite, with great attention to detail, but not overly fussy. It's perfect for both fish and meat dishes, as well as wine. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!
Simply stunning.. everything about this place was first class. Amazing food amazing service and beautiful surroundings. Seeing the kitchen and the chefs was cool and the huge number of amazing treats on the taster menu didn't fail to wow our group. Couldn't fault it. Expensive but worth every penny!
What can I say! Our visit to Moor Hall for the four course luncheon menu exceeded all expectations. It was a truly wonderful experience beautiful surroundings, fabulous food and exceptional staff, all overseen by the very talented and unassuming Mark Birchall. An absolute culinary feast.
