I decided to bring a large group of friends while we were out biking to stop here and have some food and beverages. But when we got there the person greeting us was hostile asked us to not come in and was being very belligerent in his tone and manner asking us to not step inside until he told us to. The food options were equally impressive. The Spicy Cheese Curds were lightly dusted with paprika, reminiscent of Flamin' Hot Cheetos — that’s exactly what it brought to mind! The Street Tacos were classic, filled with onions and cilantro, complemented by their house-made salsa verde, which had a wonderfully smooth, creamy avocado texture with a kick of jalapeño. We started with the cheese curds, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and just the right amount of cheesy, served with a delicious chipotle ranch. The samosas were absolutely the best I’ve had in the Chicago area—the combination of flavors with the sweet green chutney and the red onion on top was simply perfect.
Our bartender and waitress were both knowledgeable and friendly. I would love to see vada pav and Bombay-style frankie added to the menu!
As a first-time customer but a long-time fan of this establishment, I have to say that it's fantastic! The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere with plenty of space. The beer selection is impressive, and the food is absolutely amazing. I tried the More burger, and it was so delicious that it literally melted in my mouth. It's a must-try! Your taste buds will definitely thank you for it.
Fantastic food and delicious beer in a laid-back atmosphere. It can get busy, but it's not noisy enough to disrupt a nice conversation. There are plenty of TVs for sports viewing. The burgers and sweet potato fries were particularly excellent. I appreciated the 5-ounce pours, which allowed us to sample a wide variety of options. The full bar also adds to the great selection available.
Went in for a weekday lunch for first time and had a good experience. Beer was tasty and bartender was super nice. Food was okay, thought the portions were small and over priced. Would go again for the beer!
