This location is awesome in every aspect (well -1 thing they don’t even AC, there’s 1 ceiling fan in the middle of the restaurant and 2-3 fans at the bar. We celebrated 2 of our friends b-day yesterday and we were sweating bullets because they either don’t have any Air Conditioning or pale simple refused to turn it on when we ALL asked. Food is amazing, had a few pizzas, lots of appetizers, drinks were awesome as well. For the lovely young lady and the other younger lady she was training, thank you sooooooo much for an amazing experience. Like most of the reviews, it's the bad service for me. I understand the staffing crisis, but my waiter had three tables, including my own where I was dining solo on Christmas Eve. I was told they were serving the specials listed online, but they weren't. They ran out of meatballs but didn't tell me until moments before my meal came out. When asking about soup, my waiter walked away and totally forgot he was supposed to be looking into it. When the food runner/manager realized I was waiting on bacon wrapped shrimp that they didn't have she basically walked away then too and never came back. I think the worst part is it was my birthday and just kept getting blown off when the floor wasn't real...
This year we hosted our company party on the ground floor. This is the third time we did this in the room and had about 200 people at the party. The room is excellent for a group of about 80 to about 230 or so... intimate enough regarding all together in a large room with clear lines of view, but not too big. Food is always very good – from pasta and chicken dishes to roasted ravioli and salads. The staff and the team have always made us very welcome. I would recommend the restaurant for an event or for a nice lunch or dinner.
Nothing had flavor. The pizza was dry and without flavor. It had a crisp crust covered with cornmeal. Zero sauce. Chicken that could have been tofu. $14 Then there was my chicken avocado and bacon wrap. Again zero taste. No I don't have Covid either. It was filled with half chopped lettuce. Generic chicken breast bits of avocado and bacon that didn't taste like real bacon. $15 Service was good and the restaurant ambiance was nice but the food was some of the worst I've had in a long time.
Had the rehearsal dinner there for my son and new daughter in-law October 7 and the food was awesome as usual. We got a mix of pizzas, salads and appetizers . The main waiter was very attentive and friendly and went way beyond in his service . Kudos to him and the rest of staff who delivered our food in a timely fashion. They all deserve a raise!! We heard deep dishes pizza potentially induced work. We came here on a Friday night and landed in the delivery room on Saturday afternoon. My wife and I recommend the Chicago Classic Deep Dish. The grilled Calamari Appetizer and the New England clam chowder soup were also delicious. I enjoyed this food better than Giordanos and Lou Malnatis.
Enjoyed the food. Had coconut fried onions for appetizer. Then two types of pizzas. Thin and deep dish. Both were made excellent. The pizza had a homemade taste and feel. Service was excellent, helpful to find our way through the menu and offered suggestions.
The mozzarella sticks are so good. I had the short ribs ravioli and my son had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The ravioli was good but the Alfredo was very good. Atmosphere is also very fun and still family friendly. I would recommend.
We went to Chicago and had to taste an authentic deep food pizza. This was literally the best pizza I ever had!! Cosy but fun atmosphere and very friendly workers!! The fireplace was a nice touch!
