This is definitely our unparalleled favourite and culinary comparison counterpoint for Japanese food, alongside Nobu. It's in our neighbourhood, reasonably priced and byo. <br/ <br/ The chef is incredible and the teriyaki tofu, agedashi tofu and teriyaki salmon are standouts. The tataki, chilli edamame rainbow roll are also excellent and companions have also raved about the Karaage, which is a generous entree size.<br/ <br/ Bring a bottle, good company or a book and be prepared to wait a little at busy times because it looks to mainly be the culinary efforts of a single passionate chef.
This little place in Inglewood next to the library and does some mighty good food. Service can be a bit hit and miss but well worth it. Their signature sushi rolls are great, their okonomyaki is some of the best I have had. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Opened for lunch during the week, but not on weekends. Dinner only then.<br/
Ordered lunch for takeaway and was so surprised on how much they give you for a pretty reasonably price. My Katsu chicken bento box was huge! I loved the sauce that came with the box, and pleasantly enjoyed the sides of sushi, sashimi, gyoza, spring roll, salad and miso soup. Most likely the best katsu chicken I have tried : will definitely be back!
One of the little hidden gems in Inglewood. you dont really come across a good chicken katsu like theirs. Nicely crumbed, paired with a awesome tangy sauce that just sings with each bite. <br/ <br/ Overall friendly service, pretty good sushi choices and prices. My go to place for Japanese in the neighborhood.

Very good prices, chicken karaage and takoyake entrée were very nice. Ordered the teriyaki chicken bento box, the teriyaki was a bit strong and sweet (maybe people are into that? But overall it was very enjoyable.
Had a great meal here. Delicious food, nicely presented by friendly staff. Much more than a sushi bar well worth a return visit so ignore the plain appearance of the interior and enjoy some great food
Simple, clean, fun. Fantastic. Loved the vegetarian gyoza. Teriyaki Salmon Bento box was fun packed with a lot of salmon. Don't be put off by the plain decor. Great place
