Morning Thunder Cafe

I really enjoyed the sourdough French toast! It came with a generous portion and I wasn't sure what to expect with the sourdough but I ended up loving it. However, my companion wasn't as pleased with his sandwich as he found the bacon to be overcooked and there was too much egg. We were visiting from Oregon and expected everything in California to be expensive, but we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices. Overall, I left the restaurant very happy.

We absolutely adore this restaurant! We come here for breakfast every week because the food is amazing and the service is top-notch. Dee and her team go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. Our exchange student from Germany loved both the breakfast and lunch options here. When her parents came to visit us a couple of months ago, we brought them here and they couldn't stop talking about the delicious food, especially the banana pancakes!

My favorite diner in chico. Their pancakes are out of this world, but I can't stop myself from getting a fantastic waffle! I also recommend their champagne float. Basically a pint of champagne with a dollop of fruit sorbet. Out of this world.

Definitely enjoy the food, the service and the atmosphere. The prices are not too bad either. Love the option of coffee
