I've been wanting to visit this restaurant for a long time, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. The food was served lukewarm or even cold. The meal consisted mainly of cauliflower stew, carrot stew, and chickpeas—lots of chickpeas. The labneh and hummus were all served together on one platter, and we were given just a bowl and spoon to eat with. For dessert, we received store-bought Turkish delight and a small pastry—no fresh salad in sight. For $70 for two people, I expected much better. We could have gone to our local Middle Eastern café and enjoyed freshly made food and a lovely salad for half that price. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
An addition to the original Moroccan Soup Bar just down the road, this place hosts all the delicious favourites, and can be ordered to go with more convenience! Love the new dishes I tried here. The pizza is so abundant, full of flavour, with an excellent option of gluten free base. The mixed bowl dish is spectacular, could hardly speak when eating it, it was so heavenly. Everything I want in a dish: abundance, variety, tang, crunch, fresh, sweet, warm... moreish. A more casual atmosphere than the Moroccan Soup Bar, but with more convenience and options in ordering to go, and opportunity to sit in as well. Will be back!
Dining here was quite an experience! Each dish was packed with flavor. We were seated in the women's room, which was toddler-friendly and filled with countless books by women authors. It was an experience that makes you want to return for more. The all-female setup creates a wonderful sense of empowerment—absolutely loved it! The dips in the tapas were outstanding!
As for the service, the staff seemed unclear about what was happening and what the special dishes were, making the experience feel very confusing and rushed. When the appetizers were served, we weren't even sure what each dish was or if everyone got to sample everything. Overall, I left feeling quite let down by the entire experience. Fantastic home made delicious vegetarian food with lots of flavour and spice done right. If you’re looking for something a little different, no menu and happy to take a trek to the north side, this won’t disappoint. $25 for the banquet menu and there was so much food we couldn’t eat anymore! If you haven’t been you should go!!
First class service! There was a mistake made on my behalf with an order and they rectified it on their end without the need to, on top of that, the food was extremely tasty and moorish! 5 stars will 100% be back for more!
The lunch/dinner pack is hard to beat for its hearty-healthy-affordable triple package. Their chickpea bake is legendary for a reason. There’s quite a few young staff and they are all so welcoming and lovely.

This is basically the same as morrocan soup bar just a takeaway extension. The chickpea bake is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted , I am absolutely addicted
