I visited the Kettering Morrison's cafe for a snack with my partner. When we finally managed to attract someones attention (by stepping into the kitchen area as there was never anyone at the counter) we ordered a couple of all day breakfasts. Other than the side order of chips being stone cold (which to be fair were quickly replaced) the breakfasts were acceptable, just (the bacon had probably been cooked many hours previously as it had the texture of a crispbread). Furthermore, in whatever direction you looked, it was impossible to avoid observing tables covered in used crockery and leftover food. Visited Tues 22/02/22. 15:00hrs. Kettering Morrisons. Had to move tables twice out of way of icy air conditioning fans above. Ordered 1xlarge all day breakfast and 1x small all day breakfast. Waited over half hour (there appeared to be only one member of staff) for food to arrive and when it did it was very cold. Baked beans, fried egg and hashbrowns Very cold, the rest sausage and bacon only moderately warm. There was no butter for the toast and additional chips so over cooked they had consistency of hard biscuits. Perhaps we should have been warned by the fact there was only one other customer in there. Not godd enough Morrisons !!!
I have been using this cafe for about 6 months now,it started of brilliant,couldn't fault it,it has done nothing but go down hill,every week they are running out of items,no butter only spread,no black pudding,we can only do scrambled egg,was told this yesterday only for the lady on the next table to get poached eggs,I was told I couldn't have poached eggs,feel sorry for the girls serving as they have to face the brunt of it,about time the management made an appearance,rather than hiding away all the time,explain why this cafe has become somewhere I don't want to be,after 6 months of nearly every weekend,no more.
I have been a loyal patron of Morrisons Cafe for quite some time now, often visiting with my mother. Recently, we have noticed new staff members who are incredibly polite and accommodating. However, it seems they are facing challenges due to poor management. The stock is often low, and even simple items like sauces or options for eggs are difficult to come by. Additionally, I have noticed that the food is not as hot as it used to be. Despite these issues, the two or three young girls who have recently started working there are always a delight to interact with.

Went for a breakfast this morning, cold dismal setting, cutlery in disgusting state could not find a single piece that was not covered in grease and dried on food , had to take to table get a cup of boiling water from tea dispenser to soak them in and wipe clean, dried on ketchup on fork, I mentioned to partner my scrambled egg was stone cold he said his fried egg was totally cold .only nice thing on plate was the toasted thick bread, sat at table looking at the dusty ledges and cup rings on table, definitely a place to avoid. Used to be ok here
Ordered food separately. Mine was delivered in good time but my partner's didn't turn up. He ordered before me (Ham and cheese toasty) and when they dropped mine off (bangers and mash) and took the number we told them we were still waiting for his. 15 minutes later still nothing. We watched the one person up front running food and not taking orders from the long queue forming. Feels like poor management scheduling and no help from other colleagues who we saw walk in and out of the kitchen.
Popped in for breakfast to break up our journey from Suffolk to Worcestershire. It was freezing in the cafe from overhead air con and had to move to another table. I had the full breakfast which was luke warm. My wife had a sausage sandwich which too was like warm. The staff were friendly but I have been put off going to Morrisons for breakfast again. Very disappointed
I was a lorry driver for morrisons a few years ago and had lots of food in lots of the cafes, today I popped in to Kettering morrisons. Had the breakfast and everything thing on the plate was cook as it should be. Who ever was cooking need to pat on the back as its the best I have ever had in a morrisons. I'm a chef with a very good TripAdvisor.

The young girls who cook in the cafe need a ****** medal, they are truly brilliant but can not say the same for the rude cafe manager. I feel so sorry for the girls who work under her she is evil and talks to them like a piece if dirt on the bottom of her shoe
I nearly always have the cod and this was the best cod for value for money by far. I would go here every time for fish and chips. Just wonderful!
