Morton's is a great place for that special dinner! Not the most affordable dining experience, but as a Landry member, there are occasional specials that make it worthwhile! (Hint: Labor Day) Food is definitely superior and the best place to go for a really good steak. Service is top notch even on a busy night. Parking is best with valet on busy nights as downtown can be challenging especially if something is happening at Golden One Center. Otherwise there's a parking lot across the street at the bank. Pay by QR code on your phone. Cost me $10.99 for 2 hours. Valet is $15+tip. Lots of great cocktail and wine options! Yes, there's outdoor seating but the street is really noisy. Look forward to...
Reservations was for 6pm, arrived at 5:45 was told we could not be seated until 6 (keep in mind 75% of tables were empty) because other folks that had reservations needed to be seated first (no one else waiting) from the time we arrived to the time we got seated there was only 1 couple seated… not very smart and bad reason excuse… we visit this location 4-5 times a year and for some reason there is always something we have asked to be seated in booths and always an excuse this time there were multiple booths open and after we’re were seated multiple single couples were sat in those booths just very not sure how to take this type of service.
that was my first time in morton’s eating and I was blown away from the service and eating. the personal we all met was not only very attractive, but charming. our server for the evening was valerie. she was mental and funny. before dinner we went into the bar to have a few cocktails. the bartender, alex and nicolette were very helpful and the drinks were delicious. I recommend the basil hayden old fashioned. the manager, delanee, stopped at our table to review us, and she also impressed us with her weeping knowledge. yes, it is expensive, but they pay for quality service and eat. we can't expect to go back.
more than the big eat, more than the perfectly cooked and aged steaks, more than delicious side, more than the relaxed, jazzy atmosphere, more than anything else, this place is all about a great service. I will come here again and again, eat everything from their burgers to their seafood and come back, just for how good I will be treated. I love this place.
They forgot the butter we purchased as a topping to our Tomahawk Riveye. Also they didn’t slice the steak after they promised to. The char on exterior of steak was decent, but I’ve had much better and more flavorful at Sutter Street Steakhouse. Loaded Baked Potato was nice. Wine selection was good for Sacramento.
Kevin was our waiter he was absolutely amazing! Our food was great! Our complimentary pictures were gorgeous for the birthday celebration! The manager all staff were also wonderful…I highly recommend this restaurant everything about it is OUTSTANDING!
Our server Edgar was amazing! He checked on us often which was great and the wait time for the food was not long at all. Loved the drinks and food! I would definitely go back
Juan Carlos was amazing!!!! Celebrated my mom and grandmothers bday he made them feel nothing but special! Was an amazing time.
My significant other and I celebrated our birthday at Morton’s. Our service was outstanding and made us feel so special!
