I made reservations for this restaurant about a week and a half ago prior to my boyfriend’s birthday. My only special request was that I get a surprise dessert for his birthday. Upon walking into the establishment, the host ruined the birthday surprise by saying happy birthday…But that was fine. We went, sat down and ordered our food. The food was great, however, our waiter (TAYLOR) was not very attentive to my reservation. After we ate, we sat and waited for about minutes before the waiter decided to Ask if we wanted a dessert menu, when I requested a surprise. I was already upset at that point, because sitting there, I saw very nice desserts beautifully garnished coming out for other birth...
Morton\'s is a great steakhouse for those times when you say the heck with it, I\'m gonna treat myself It\'s a little pricey, but honestly what isn\'t these days Staff was super friendly and efficient. Menu had ample choices, though none were really inexpensive. Steaks and sides were outstanding. Grilled oyster appetizer was tasty and fun. Wines were the typical markup over retail but that is a well known fact of life to fine diners. Filet was excellent. Manhattan cut wasn\'t as impressive as I had hoped. Me and Hubby tried Morton’s in Rosemont, IL again yesterday evening and it’s confirmed……Morton’s is not as good and on point as they use to be. This time there were an adequate amount of servers available but our server (Felipe) was very lackluster and not attentive at all. Our appetizers were the Wedge salad and Caesar Salad. The entrees were the Bone-In Ribeye with Lobster Mac and Cheese and the Shrimp Scampi Capellini. This time the steak was burnt, the Lobster Mac and Cheese was cold and bland. The location and parking was perfect We loved the ambiance and decor. Very elegant. The food was amazing and delicious. The portions were more than enough. I would recommend Morton Steakhouse to anyone.
I absolutely loved my meal at this restaurant! My favorite dish was the lobster Mac and cheese, but the truffle fries were also incredible.
We went to Morton’s to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. We love the food and ambiance. Highly recommended to all our friends and family.
