Went tonight to have dinner with 2 friends and stood there for 5 mins nobody noticed us. Receptionist was on the phone but even after finishing her call didn't took any notice of us standing right in front of her. Then came another guy may be owner, instead of greeting us he greeted the guy behind us. We approached him asking for a table and he told us oh yes I can but only if you have a quick dinner. Haha quick dinner..... I think he is only interested in big groups as they will spend more. We thought that was very rude....never going back....
I was visiting my daughter who lives in the Malvern area. We dined in the restaurant the first time and had great service and excellent meals. Then, almost two weeks later, since there was a huge storm blowing, we decided to take advantage of their free delivery service and order in. Another great meal arrived - piping hot and very generous portions. Next time I'm Down Under, I'll definitely be dining at Moti Mahal.
There was no one else in this place so not sure what to make out of this sign yet the service was very slow. The meats were tough and overcooked. The meats were also very dry - couldn't eat it without sauce and there were no sauces.Cutlery sticky and dirty. Floor oily and slippery.Total amount was not what we expected. Overpriced.
If you like Indian food this is a nice choice. The food was really tasty and although one side dish was forgotten we dined well. The curry was hot: spicy and fiery but not overwhelming for a western palate. I loved the spinach and paneer. My favourite Indian dish. It's easy to eat too much here!

Celebrating the announcement of twin grandkids today we thought a curry would be in order. I asked for a beef curry that was hotted up but not a Vindaloo. Not sure what they served me but it was one of the tastiest dishes I've had in an Indian restaurant. We'll be back.
We ordered Gobhi manchurian, seekh kebab for entrée and they were yummmm. For mains Navratan Korma was fine and Cooker chicken was also fine. Didn't had much variety for entrée .. but overall experience was gud.
We just love Moti Mahal. The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is cosy and warm and they have the music at just the right volume (not loud!). Try the Palak Paneer and the Lamb Korma... so good!
One night, my friends and I stopped by desperate for something to eatIn retrospect, I would've much preferred something else that night.

Every time I come here, which is actually quite often, I can help but laugh at their knifes that they put on the table to use.
Highly recommended by a friend (who frequents the place so much that some of the waitresses recognize him).
