I typically don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so today. Mottley Kitchen prepared my Classic Egg Sandwich with Turkey Bacon, Pimento, and Cheddar with great care. I was apprehensive about opening my bag and finding my over-medium eggs mixed in with my Cold Brew, but thankfully that was not the case. The packaging was excellent and the food was delicious! They also offer well-priced pastries. The French Croissant was large and flaky. I am looking forward to visiting in person.
Great, relaxed spot with a quiet atmosphere, perfect for getting work done. The customer service is consistently excellent and the food is decent. The music playlist is fantastic. A wonderful new addition to The South Bronx with a diverse crowd. The rooftop is a favorite spot, especially in the spring and summer. The outdoor seating includes wooden tables with umbrellas, lounge chairs, regular round tables with chairs, and floor cushions. The vibes at Motleys are definitely on point.
I would rate the pastries as a 4 out of 5, with the coffee being a 5. The additional star is for the community-engaged space of the cafe. The atmosphere was welcoming, with local t-shirts available for purchase. I tried the vegan carrot cake and maple cruller. The carrot cake had a good texture but was a bit too sweet for my liking. The cruller was also overly sweet and slightly burnt, resulting in a bitter taste. The coffee, however, was excellent with no complaints.
I don't give perfect ratings to anyone, so please keep that in mind. The Avocado Toast was incredible. I asked for extra hot sauce which added a fantastic flavor and spice, even though I'm not usually a fan of spice. The smoothies I tried in person were a must-try, they were incredibly delicious. And finally, the seasonal drink, Iced Moroccan Mint Tea, was unsweetened with fresh mint leaves, and incredibly refreshing. It arrived double wrapped and didn't spill. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
First time visiting the Place and I absolutely loved it, I couldn't believe I found this Soho Style Kitchen here at the Bronx, the Service and the food were great! the guys at the counter were awesome very helpful and welcoming, the Ambient and the place in general super clean and organized, I loved the Marroquin concept, the portions of the plates were good for a decent price, definitely recommend it and I will come back again
I love this place because of the calming atmosphere. It?s a great place to study, work, or grab some coffee with a friend. The food is okay, lacked a little flavor for me. However, the coffee is good. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean. The rooftop dining is also a plus if you are into eating outdoors. I enjoy the space and will most likely keep coming because of the coffee. Totally recommend!
Wonderful cafe! Great barista and menu! They had so many amazing looking desserts. It?s spacious inside and out and def somewhere I can?t wait to get back to. The service was exemplary and the coffee is good. It said medium but was darker and nice. They have an amazing kitchen too. Def come check them out. They have a cinnamon croissant too that?s hard to find
I had a great experience at this coffee shop. The ambiance is very pleasant and the service from the girl who assisted us was friendly and welcoming. The food was only average in my opinion, so I deducted one star. Despite that, I really liked the atmosphere and would definitely return, even if it's just for coffee. Coffee was reasonably priced, but also smaller than expected. For me, the tiny portion was just right for how much caffeine I was looking for. The atmosphere is beautiful, with an industrial yet coworking vibe. Location is decent and the staff friendly! I?m a fan and I?ll be back!
