we go to Moxie's every April 26 for the past 12 years to celebrate our daughters birthday our daughter passed away 12 years ago. we go to Moxie's because it was her favorite place to eat. we make reservations for 12-16 people and we all have her favorite meal (beef dip). this was we had a wow factor when I made the reservations we were asked if we wanted a couple of booths i asked if they had a table that would accommodate 12 people and we also needed a high chair i was transferred to the manager Levi he personally took a high chair to the table i requested to make sure we had enough room while i was on hold on the phone. We decided to go here again as we had such a great experience a couple months ago. It was my daughters final in Irish dance and we want to take her someplace nice. We got in and Sarah our waitress was awesome and very very friendly. My five-year-old son thought it was a little chilli and asked if the air-conditioning could be turned down, however the manager came out and offered us a blanket as the thermostat area was locked up. No big deal but was a very good gesture for him to come out and bring a blanket for him, pretty cool, no pun intended. Moxie's has come a long way in terms of their food offering and quality. So much so that it has become my favourite place to grab a quick dinner if I'm being lazy to cook at home.This location in particular is a favourite of mine because of it's convenient location and proximity to other business like groceries stores, big box hardware stores, etc...Service is always great and the pricing reasonable. Last week, had another pleasant experience. Had the ribs and nachos for appies! The ribs is always a favourite but it was my first time ordering the nachos and it was delicious as well. Had the Herb Alfredo for my entrée but instead of the chicken option, I opted for the shrimp and it was good....
We had the opportunity to have our grand daughter for a day on Wednesday. She made all the choices which included Chapters..all three of us are book lovers, then to Mastermind for some science projects and finally she chose Moxies so she could show her grand dad the ice cream volcano. We had a lovely waitress and it was one of those experiences you get on a yearly or longer basis. The food was terrific.... I had the lettuce wraps and they have to be number one in the city and the lady looking after us made my grand daughter love her and the place.Excellent work from all of them...thank you.

Although they can not obviously 100 percent guarantee that an item is gluten free due to possible cross contamination, every effort is made to provide a health option for Celiac people. One person in our party is a Celiac and after a very friendly and reassuring discussion with the manager we decided to order. All food came out as ordered and it was in fact fit for consumption by someone with Celiac disease. We will return to this location. Gluten free options are not plentiful but there are a few good ones. Fryer is not Gluten free.
After the disappointing visit to Boston Pizza, we came here. The place seemed more ambient, the beer was certainly 300% better and with the Big Life Amber on special offer at C$7 for a Moxie size 24fl oz it was definitely worth sampling another. Will be back before we go back home. Oh, and the waitress (server) was pretty damn good as well.
Met friends there while waiting for sons hockey game to start. It was a wednesday night. We went in the lounge, server was quick to approach us. It was 1/2 price glasses of wine... which was awesome. Will be back.
