I made reservations for a group of six here for Afternoon Tea. In order to make a reservation, you have to call and it can't be made too far in advance (I tried calling about a month and a half before the date lol). Once we arrived, we were greeted and seated. You walk past loads of goodies on the way in. ? The tea room area is dimly lit, peaceful, and cutesy decorated. There is a piano player playing live music while you enjoy your tea. ? On special days (which I won't mention for selfish reasons, as I want to ensure there's plenty for me), they prepare what I believe to be the best Napoleons in Ohio. They’re available for pickup at specific times, which I will also keep to myself! I've included pictures of these delightful treats in this post. Additionally, who could resist their signature Peach Marzipans? Each pastry box includes two of these delightful treats that always bring a smile to anyone who receives them! Overall, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The prices are high, but the food lacks proper seasoning. If you order soda, they serve it straight from the can with no refills, which is not what you would expect from a fine dining establishment. Additionally, the atmosphere felt quite unpleasant, and the male owner appeared to be unhappy. After reading reviews from former staff on Glassdoor, I understand why. I would recommend avoiding this place until the owner realizes that being kind and pleasant costs nothing, and that lashing out at others doesn’t make him feel important.
I've had positive experiences here in the past, but I was really disappointed during my visit today. I went in to buy a piece of cake and a truffle for my birthday, and the cake was surprisingly dry! I also ordered what I thought was an amaretto truffle, but it just tasted like plain chocolate—I didn't get a hint of amaretto at all, which is my favorite flavor, so that was a letdown. Due to the lack of servers, you are now ordering at the counter, the server will bring the food out. If you got coffee or tea, it's now self-serve. Food wise it's about the same. Not super good but not bad either. I had the veggie quiche, came with toastand fruits. All decent. The Live music pianist was there when we were (Saturday brunch) and played some songs. I feel bad forhim because not many people tip.
The desserts are phenomenal! We had the almond cake, marzipan peach, and petit fours for our wedding dessert. They never miss! I’ve gone a handful of times for brunch or lunch, but was never impressed with the food or the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Beautiful setting and experience. Food was delicious and our server was very cordial. Our small group enjoyed seating near the pianist who played delightful music. Thank you for a lovely luncheon experience for me and my out of town guests.
I attended an event at this restaurant, and while the experience started off on a negative note due to one of the servers who seemed to be a supervisor being quite condescending and rude, the rest of the event turned out to be delightful. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Mozart Cafe for breakfast is truly lovely. We were lucky to have the pianist there playing when we went. He played the Buckeye OSU fight song on the baby grand piano. Sweet! Food and drinks were very good and exquisite decor.
