This review is based on their evening dinner service, not their day-time fare.Our first visit was on a Thursday night. It was perfect. Great service and ambience, and a gorgeous meal which moved it up to being one of our favorite restaurants. The next visit was on a Wednesday night which turned out to be "Souvlaki night". A happy-go-lucky noisy family night with Ok Souvlakis. Our third visit was on a Friday night and something of a disaster. We had to wait an unacceptably long time and chase them up for our food. We would like to thank you for the amazing time we had on Saturday, both for kids and parents. The kids birthday party went smoothly and I cannot thank you enough for giving the kids such a great party. The feedback I received from parents were all excellent and I would give a special mention to 'Elsa ' who was really special and the kids couldn 't get enough of her! The food was great as usual, and service was excellent too. Will definitely recommend Fussy Pots to all my friends! Thanks again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The bad: Took a while for menus to arrive and after asking for a chai tea, the server told us he didn't recommend the chai tea and I should have a chai latte...I don't drink coffee. I stuck with water as a tea seemed too hard for this server.The good: the food was FANTASTIC. We ordered eggs benedict with a few extras, it tasted and looked phenomenal, the ham was delicious and peas were a great addition. The food was quickly prepared and on the table in 15 minutes! Would go back, perhaps with a new drink order in mind!
We dined at this new restaurant between Christmas and New Year. There were several things on the menu which were unavailable as they were closing down at New Year for a holiday. Surprising that even cheese could not be provided! In general the dinner menu was quite limited however the wine list was quite good. The service was fine but the music was too loud.

Dropped in for take away cappuccino during the recent Ashburton Festival. Various eating areas including out the back of the restaurant. Did not eat so unable to comment on the food but the coffee was very average. Service was ok but could have been quicker. Would try somewhere else for coffee next time.
Went with a group of girlfriends and had a great night. From the moment we walked in until we left the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing and the Frose' drink was wonderful. Will definitely be back
Love this place for a quick coffee! It's always great, happy staff and they know exactly how to keep their customers coming back. Perfectly textured milk, always tastes like an espresso made with love. ????????
On our first visit since this venue was transformed we were pleased with very tasty food and great service. Staff should remember to never leave a draft entering from upstairs door.

Always great food and very friendly service. Mr Burton has the best coffee in Asburton and probably the entire area! My superfood bowl was delicious and it looked amazing!
Great spot for some lunch and drinks in the Ashburton area.
