This is by far my FAVORITE Chinese restaurant in the T-town/Northport area. If you want genuine, authentic Chinese dishes with tons of taste, you have found it here. My husband and I have tried a few different dishes here: Duck noodle soup, dumplings, steamed buns (sorts like soup dumplings). Very juicy), mei fun, Mongolian chicken, etc. But the one we get EVERY time is salted crispy chicken w/ steamed rice and one side of draining sauce for diving. It is so crispy, savory and tasteful! Yum! All we tried here was a treat! The waiters are all friendly and attentive. I like the family-friendly dishes and the cozy, intimate atmosphere all embedded in an Asian food market. We often visit Mr. Chens. It is the best oriental food in Tuscaloosa. We have found many articles on the menu that we like, but shrimp and pineapple is our favorite. I don't know how they keep the pineapples from being oily or soggy, but they do. There are large pieces of fried pineapple that are crispy and delicious. All waiters are very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very beautiful.
Chinese restaurant with a good taste. You have a Chinese market just before you enter this restaurant. They also serve good meals and their customer service is top notch. It is also overcrowded with time as there are many influx of people at different times. They are flexible with their seat arrangement. So it can serve any purpose you need.
Love the owners...I call his wife my sister...they make so many delicious. Dishes.but most of all their home made dumpling sauce is the bomb..go show them some love and tell them Administrator Nurse Walker sent u..hugs and kisses
