We had a wonderful dinner tonight at Mr. Chu. The opening hours are clearly listed on their Google business page. We made a reservation over the phone, but there was plenty of space available for walk-ins as well. The service was outstanding—every staff member was friendly and efficient. I went with my husband and son to celebrate the end of the month. We ordered the banquet for two and a chicken chow mein, which was perfect for our son to sample a bit of everything. There was a lot of food, and we couldn't finish it all. It was excellent value for the money. Overall, it was a delightful experience.
I went for a peaceful birthday meal with my partner and two friends. The setting was stunning, with beautiful views, and the hosts and staff were incredibly welcoming. The service was prompt, and they accommodated our every need without hesitation. There was an excellent variety of well-cooked and beautifully presented dishes. The value was fantastic, and to top it off, I received a bottle of wine as a birthday gift. I highly recommend this restaurant. It seems that Mr. Chu has great plans for his establishment, and the future looks promising for him and his restaurant.
Delicious food and stunning views! During a recent weekend getaway, I discovered Mr. Chus and was thoroughly impressed by the quick, friendly service and the tasty food. The authentic and beautiful setting, complete with a view of the bridge, added to the experience. This is truly one of the best Chinese restaurants I've visited in the past six years. If you're in the area, you absolutely must check it out!
We was a party of 14 last night august 30th.the food was divine not one complaint.the waiter bless him was amazing.so lovely so funny and boy did it take a while for us to eat or drink.but he honestly did his best with so many of us.fantastic night had by us all.so thankyou young man.you did an amazing job all by yourself.we all thought you was cooking it too but was great
Stunning building and friendly staff. We had a table of 7 who all ordered different dishes. To create a more cosy atmostphere they are now situated where Bar Jack's was to the right entrance but was great, clean tidy and suprisingly a nice feel. The food came quickly, hot and tasted lovely, we all agreed to book again in the before Christmas and in the New Year.
Lovely meal last night with my hubby,Brother and sister in-law..perfect table on the water's edge,amazing views..we ordered banquet A at £24.5 ahead.. excellent value, and quality to..bottle of wine @16 was very nice as well..the waiter was very attentive,and looked after us all evening..I'd definitely recommend Mr Chu's in Hull...
Popped in for the first time this evening. Food was lovely and fresh, gorgeous view of the sunset over the Humber and 10/10 for the friendly service seems to be rare these days so was a lovely experience and we will definitely visit again. Thank you.
Food was brilliant, as always. So glad they are open again. The entertainment was also very good. Hope they can build up the clientele again and get that Mr Chu's atmosphere back!
Great food, nice service. We went and had the banquet tonight and it was just perfect again. Fresh, full of taste and the best Chinese food we have. Excellent value for money.
