I don't usually shop at this location since I live closer to the larger stores in Hermitage, but my mom's family is still in the area, so I occasionally stop by. A few days ago, I was with my cousin and craving a sub. Since Subway was closed, we decided to check out Mr. D's. I grabbed a turkey and provolone sub that was already wrapped and sitting on a shelf. To my surprise, it turned out to be the best sub I've ever had. The bread was packed with more meat and cheese than I expected, especially for a pre-made sandwich from a grocery store. I devoured the entire thing as soon as we got home—it was amazing!
The customer service at this restaurant was very disappointing. When we explained that we were ordering food for a funeral, we were informed that our location, which is 32 minutes away, was considered too far for delivery, and that it would cost an additional $30 on top of the minimum $50 order required for delivery. Both employees I spoke with on the phone were unhelpful and not particularly friendly. We decided to take our business elsewhere. Improvements are definitely needed.
Despite being a small grocery store, they consistently stock everything I'm looking for at reasonable prices. It has a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of grocery stores from my childhood, which I really appreciate. The layout is easy to navigate, and they offer a solid selection of products. While you won't find thousands of variations like you do at Walmart, I consider that a positive aspect. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
I love this places products, but if you woke up inside the store and seen the prices, you would guess you were in the middle of nowhere in some ghetto because everything is wayyyy entirelyyyy unacceptablyyyy over priced.. so bad so that it might be the worst around in regards to prices. still my go to store though

Additionally, there's a bakery and butcher section where you can find fresh baked goods and high-quality cuts of meat available in-store.
This is an excellent grocery store with amazing hot food selections! I really wish it were closer to my home. I come here for lunch nearly every day when I'm working. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful, with Becky being a particular highlight!
The selection is extensive. I purchased the prepared pork loin that you just heat and eat, and it was delicious. I definitely want more!
The employees at this restaurant are extremely friendly, and the establishment is kept very clean.

It's a typical grocery store, but I think it's even better than Whole Foods.
