Been here about 4 times now, food was good as usual. Fresh and tasty stuff but the service is just far too slow. Ordered a sushi salad with teriyaki chicken. Rice and salad base with a few extras and chicken should not take 30 minutes to come out. My partner's salad bowl came out ten minutes earlier, which means she pretty much finished by the time I got mine. The waitress was apologetic but the wait times are pretty consistent. The salads are a bit small but ok. My previous visits I have definitely still been hungry after, but today wasn't too bad so the portion size was enough. I was here to dinate half a dozen times and eat comes out in the usually quite fast and I had no complaining about it. However, the food handling and hygiene is appalling after a few employees were observed at a quiet evening. my man and I saw two workers with gloves wipe and clear tables with a flap, go back behind the counters to order / handle money at the until then hand roll sushi- never to replace their gloves. they really need to be informed not to wear gloves only to protect their hands from pollution, but the importance of health and food hygiene of customers. it was really so shocking to see and I hope it changes before someone gets sick.
My partner and I visited this restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere was nice, but I have to say that the food did not justify the price. We ordered the mango chicken roll, teriyaki chicken donburi, karage chicken, and salmon sashimi with their special soy dressing. The salmon sashimi was the standout dish of the night, while the mango chicken roll was disappointing. The sauce on the roll tasted like bottled Thai chili sauce, and the mango did not seem fresh, making it not worth the price. The teriyaki chicken donburi was average, and the karage chicken was undercooked. We paid approximately $35 per person, but it felt more like a $15 value.
This is my usually go to place if I'm after some sushi. I have been here a number of times and I am a big fan of building my own sushi. In the past they used to have more options like eel but now, this seems to be lacking from their menu. Also the price has also seemed to increase everytime I go there. Maybe the management should just stay at their same value for money prices which may retain the older customers like myself. Would I return? went on a very quiet Wednesday night (1 other table in business, and someone came after us.) we waited for 20 minutes for our food. the chicken roll that should come with fried chicken as well as teriyaki huhn came with absolutely no fried chicken everywhere as they can see from the photo. to the ridiculous price of about $10 per 4 piece, it is an absolute demolition! drive them down 10 mins down the road to buen151 in benedikt for a much cheaper and totally authentic Japanese food experience.
It’s empty during Monday lunchtime so our order came out quickly. We ordered the sushi platter for 2. Costs $45 and comes with 2 miso soups ; your choice of small rolls. We had Chicken lover roll (nice), crunchy spider roll (average), surf& turf roll (saucy and spicy mushroom roll (spicyyyy). Overall it was a good experience.
I went in one day alone when it was empty so I was served fairly fast. The gyozas were delicious and the silken tofu was some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. I’ll go back with friends some time to try more from the menu.

The sushi rolls are oversized and expensive, with a limited selection of items available. There is no ramen on the menu. The restaurant is spacious and pleasant, but I do not plan on returning.
