I asked the manager cook to make my food a certain way. The cook said they been working their two years and never make it that way for anybody. (Not willing to try. I shared we used to eat there before 2016 with my great aunt went to be with the Lord that year.my good nieghbors recommended the food made that way to me. I tried it and loved it. ! They said no never made that way. Said to stop calling it’s 5 times already. (Not but 3. Kindly I let the cook know I got ya. And hung up. Appareantly they don’t keep good customers happy: I love my family! So thankful for great memories over food with family before 2016 we made there. Thought I d share! Lol. Bon appetite!
So I used to go to this place 3 to 4 times a week for breakfast and it was actually good I went there this past Thursday morning for breakfast and I got my usual scrambled eggs grits livermush and sweet tea when I tell you it was horrible it was unbelievably horrible I couldn't believe it the sweet tea was sour my livermush had to be out of date because it tasted spoiled I spent right at 30 bucks and me and my aunt took all of 3 bites of our food and threw the rest in the trash I just couldn't believe how bad everything was I will not be going back here ever again!
Stumbled upon this place by chance and boy am I glad we did. It’s clearly a local favorite. Service was friendly and the food was great. Eggs were perfectly cooked, country fried steak and gravy was delicious. Hashbrowns weren’t cooked as crispy as I like, but I’ll know to ask for well done next time. My dad had the country ham and he said it’s the best he’s had in a long time. I got to try his grits and they were spot on. Overall, good food and value. Wish it was closer to our house.
DO NOT GO! Find another place like cracker barrels. My guest and I sat down, and I ordered the meat omelet while my guest ordered French Toast. After waiting 30 minutes we left without eating. There was a family of 4 in front of us who received their meal, ate, and left while we were still waiting. Highly do not recommend. On top of that, the place was filthy and hot. Very uncomfortable. Everything here is average... except the service. You will not be blown away by your breakfast everything from the pancakes to the eggs to the grits are probably not as good as you can make at home from instants but it isn't bad. The service is very friendly, quick and efficient. It's a bare minimum place and if you need some breakfast in a hurry for 1, 2 or 3 people. Not good for larger groups.
A very unassuming place on the inside but the food was great. We had French toast and country fried steak w gravy that came with a biscuit and hash browns and eggs. Our server was on top of things and the value was great for the amount of food you get. Parking: Not a large parking lot, but just enough next to the diner.
I love this spot me and my crew went there EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR ILL SAY 6 MONTHS and was never disappointed ???? MY BOSSMAN ALL HE WANTED AFTER I GOT THE LIVERMUSH EGG BACON CHEESE IT WAS UP FROM THERE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH WE LOVE
