Probably our mistake for coming here on this day, since this was Lobster roll week which they were out of by 3 or 4 pm btw. We looked over the menu and they were QUITE LITERALLY out of stock on at least HALF of their other food listings as well. We were told that they actually had purposely abbreviated their menu, eliminating many items to account for demand for their high priced $34 Lobster roll. That's great except since they were OUT of that item as well, there was very little left to order. A sliced Brisket sandwich or something called a Gaudi i think which was pastrami, bacon, salami, and cheddar on a bun, was about all that was left of their meat varieties. I wanted the $6 macaroni sal...
The experience we had in this restaurant was sensational with a wide variety of foods such as quesadilla starters with hummus or small pretzel breadsticks with cheese sauce. To top it off, accompanied by a delicious raspberry lemonade, we ordered a Brooklyn burger (which was incredible) and a chicken sandwich with the curiosity of strawberries that gave it a special touch. We will return and taste more options that we are left wanting to order.
The staff was very accommodating and kind. Our server checked on us several times. Everything was tasty though wish we had known the Cuban was made with pulled pork instead of sliced pork....The pulled pork was tasty just not what was expected on the sandwich, as have always had it with sliced pork. The broccoli salad was divine for sure. Will definitely be back as well as recommend it to others.
I rarely try new food let alone a new sandwich and have always been very picky so when my brother's wife said her friend works here and said it's a must try I was sceptical but I will say it was well worth going. Friendly staff, great service and a relaxing atmosphere! I'd recommend it especially if you want larger portions for your money with a touch of great taste to go along it's a must go to.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant, and it will be my last attempt to find good brisket in Detroit. The meat was dry and lacked flavor, the bread was unremarkable, and the portion sizes were small for the price. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly. I'm a bit surprised by the high ratings, but perhaps I just chose the wrong dish.
The food here is so fresh! Absolutely delicious. My husband is a hard critic and he said the Gutty was the BEST he’s had in a long time. We weren’t able to eat right away we got a carry out and even when we did eat our food hours later it was so good still.
Ate here for lunch on 8/21/2024 and it was amazing per usual! I ordered the corned beef on an onion roll with pickles and chips. Did not disappoint! Service was great and quick. Highly recommend!
I mean, the sandwiches are ok. The atmosphere is amazing. The service is mid at best. If they figure out how to handle seating and their front door, they could be great.

second time here and I am deeply impressed. first time I had the tuna melt, this time the pastrami ruben. just incredible sandwhiches!!!
This place is a hidden gem! You have to try them out you won't regret it.
