we went last night during a short trip to bristol. I love the concept of hot stone cooking, which means that her steak is cooked exactly as they want. my man and I shared a huge chateaubriand that came with a selection of flavored butters and sauces, plus three times boiled chips and a rocket salat. everything was included in the price of £70, which I consider excellent. the steak was tasty and melting tender and accompanied by a beautiful bottle merlot. the personal and especially the owner manager were really friendly and attentive. when he discovered that our stone was a little cool, he immediately exchanged it for a fresh hot one. he was also really proud of the origin of his food and re...
came here for eating before she went to bristol hippodrome for a show. the decoration in reatuarant is beautiful. it felt very warm and welcoming. the staff there was brilliant and very friendly. the best part is however the amazing quality of food. we had a shared porterhouse (T-bone) and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I only ate a picture of it half, because we couldn't wait to stick in. the steak was so tender and the aromas of butter made it even better. the chips were also very delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and I will definitely return.
what a fantastic meal! this is something as far as I know quite unique in bristol and it delivers 100%. can not give much a review how well the steaks were cooked, as this was all up to me, but the meat is excellent quality and once I was the hot stone timings it was like butter! really beautiful and creative cocktails too, came here to my birthday and I will be definitiw again here.
Excellent! Would highly recommend if you love steak! The steak was some of the best we've had and the service was faultless! (I'm from America so my standards of service are very high. Lovely experience. We really enjoyed the hot stone experience with our steaks something different. Nice ambience a sort of 1920’s theme, staff are lovely. It’s reasonably priced as well. We loved it.
