We 're in the Poconos for a nice family vacation. We decide that we 're in the mood for Italian. We had out to one of two places that we found that looked like actual restaurants (and not just pizzerias after seeing that both of them got mixed reviews. We sit down and are handed menus. There are no prices on the menu and we 're informed that they 're trying out a new menu. We order: Pasta fagiole with sausage and baked clams as appetizers followed by chicken parmesan, veal parmesan, manicotti and, penne and meatballs. The appetizers come. The clams are overcooked, the breading isn 't cohesive and the spices are unusual; definitely not what I expected. The soup came and didn 't have any sausa...
OK I'm from Brooklyn. That's what makes me an expert on Italian food. My sister and her wife took me to an Italian restaurant in Pennsylvania. I had my doubts. But let me tell you how happy I was to find a Diamond among all the phonies. Delicious food and great service. Gotta give it to Chef Sal Who came to our table upon our request. Went there to eat last night and we had Fried Calamari appetizer , Shrimp parm with spaghetti , Chicken Francese with zucchini. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was great waitress couldn't have been anymore helpful. Prices were reasonable. Did I forget the Cannollis were delicious and all baking is done on premises. I will definitely be back with others. I'm a New Yorker and know food this place gets an A+
I purchased an order to take out of Penne a la Vodka with chicken. The chicken as burnt and it was not creamy as it should have been. Also purchased an order of Shrimp Scampi, it had no taste. We had to add garlic powder, olive oil and salt to fix it. I wanted to surprize my nephew since penne is his favorite. I felt bad because it was a complete disappointment This is my first time here and the last.

Had the very best dinner at this lovely restaurant. Attractive decor, polite staff, fast efficient service and delicious food. Thank you, chef Sal for a lovely dining experience. I recommend Pipolos to any and all.
It is now Mulberry Street itslian eatery with a deli and catering. I am one of the chefs. I luv it. LOL!!! Come in and enjoy

Neat and clean. Interesting sandwich menu with the Fat ****. I had the lasagna it was very good ... wish they had wine.
