DO NOT CONFUSE MULLALOO FISH BAR with the Fish and Chip shop next to Mullaloo Hotel. This is the one at Mullaloo shops, near the IGA. The quality has been variable with different crews over the last 16 years we have been in the area,...but the price has gone up and up, and the fish size has gone down. Latest visit saw the thin ends of fish fillets very dry and unflavoursome, but the chips have improved. However this is the second time in a row I have been shortchanged my crab sticks. Paid for, and not delivered, even though I even asked the wrapper this time if my crab sticks have been included, and she said yes, already wrapped .
we have regularly taken fish and chips away from the mullaloo fish bar and always find the fish and chips are cooked to perfection. fresh oil. the workers have a great understanding of Coeliac disease and do GF chips and fish. Make sure they go. in the load at mullaloo plaza and not the chippy at the beach as they are nowhere near as good as mullaloo fish bar 10/10
baked fish and chips for 1, curry sauce and some extras. huhn nuggets and crumbs, as my partner fish does not like. fish was thin, hard and dry. chips were average. Curry sauce was cold, runny and tasted. Hähnchen-Nuggets were bland. fried sausages...was unthinkable. 3/4 throw away! Absolute waste of $21. will not come back.

honestly, the best fish chips shop for miles! consistently good eating, always hot, good price-performance ratio and generous portions too. since about 6-8 months they are here and they are getting better!
For an early fish and chips dinner on a nice day there is no better place, mullaloo beach. I found that the food from this fish and chip shop all came straight out of a box. Very disappointing.
I never had a bad eating from here. always beautiful and crispy and never too oily. General portions (more than you can really eat).
