We had the fortune of visiting ‘Mumbai Madness’ this evening. The restaurant has recently changed its name from Mumbai Central and is under new management. The name change caught our eye and convinced us to try it out, and I am glad we did; the food was awesome. We had the prawn mirchi masala and the punjab chicken, and both dishes were exquisite. Came here with my wife for an early dinner. We were seated promptly and given menus, fine. But the food took quite a while to arrive. But when it did it was really very good, the only positive part about this experience. The problem was, when we had finished it, they didn 't clear our plates away- they were left in front of us for more than half an hour. And we had to ask for the bill several times before we finally got it. There only seemed to be one poor woman serving the entire restaurant, whilst the 'manager ' just strode around the restaurant with his hands in his pockets, doing nothing. The name has been changed to Mumbai Madness under new management now. Visited today with my family. I have been before when it was Mumbai central. The experience was very good today. We were greeted nicely when we reached and informed that on Sundays they only do Set menu's which we were not aware of but were OK with it. Was explained very well what all it includes. Choice of a starter, papadoms, main dish n a side along with Nan or rice. The server made some good suggestions. Food arrived quickly after we ordered. Loved the food. Very tasty, good servings and it was very warm when served. The serving staff were great. Would definitely return.
Decided on a takeaway online service. Was met by charming staff the only good part of the experience. The food was hardly warm and quite tasteless. The prawns were only partially peeled a new experience for us in Indian food. What a shame, quite a waste of money and will not be going again. I did direct message the restaurant but, no reply.

Mumbai Central have really upped their game. We've eaten in and we've had delivery and the food has been faultless. Everything is absolutely packed with flavour and the correct amount of heat. The Mixed Grill is a thing of wonder and unreal value for money. I am dreaming of my next visit!
1st time in this restaurant which we chose as it was open on Boxing Day and will definitely return.Staff were great and the food was amazing.Spicing was excellent and we had a variety of dishes between us, all excellent. The paneer dish I had as a main course was the best I’ve had.
Loved loved loved the food! Perfect indian flavors, and tempting food presentation. They were so sweet to wish us with a special anniversary dessert. The staff is pleasant, attentive and offer wonderful service. Mumbai Central is a must visit for an Indian treat.
Was there Tuesday night with a friend for first time. Starters of chilli prawns and Lamb were excellent. If the main course of Lamb are as good as the starter I will be ordering Lamb next time. Chicken main courses and sides good as well. Excellent service.

Only the best restaurants have mashed aubergine and black dhal…. This one has both and both delicious. Can’t wait to go back !!!
Very friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Lovely Indian food with a twist at a reasonable price. We felt well looked after.
