The funicular railway ride up at the lower cost rate after 6 in the evening ( 15 SFr return ) started an evening dinner to remember . The highlight was the magnificent views over the Upper Engadine lakes and mountains . The restaurant had reserved a lovely view facing table for our group of 6 . The food was excellent , from anise bouche to starters to mains , with a comprehensive wine list and sweets to turn the head . the service was efficient , especially the friendly lady to who greeted us and kept an eye on how we were doing all evening . A Restaurant with an excellence service. For the Portuguese servant I thank immensely the recommendations that he gave. All the plates were simply delicious. This server is an excellent professional, expert of products of excellent quality that serves in this restaurant and the most important thing, it is the taste with which it fulfills his function, and the environment that it provides to the clients.
Located 2,400m above sea level, comes with certain perks. The view is amazing. Word of caution, don't dark clothes during sunny days outdoors (especially black.) as the title explains, this restaurant and adjacent Cafe is at the top of one of the most popular attractions in St Moritz, and for this reason people flock to it. There is definitely an "us and them" way the separate out the restaurant outside seating, but if it wasn't exclusive, it wouldnt be St Mortiz. would love to do the sunset next time. We spent our first evening in this gorgeous location, food and views were simply outstanding. Service staff very friendly. We managed to get a table for three people without a booking, but I guess in peak season it will be best to book ahead. Cable train ride is very nice too, only about 15 mins. Great location up here for sunsets!
We always go up to have dinner one night on our weekly ski holidays. It's a highlight of every visit. It's an incredible place particularly in winter when it's really cold up there. Plus the food and service are great. Of course it's not cheap, but it's worth the price. Oh and it's children friendly too. Don't miss it.
We visited our daughter in St. Moritz, as she had the afternoon off we rode all the way up to the Panorama restaurant for some drinks. Fantastic views, good service. To enjoy a rest during 2 weeks of skiing, we always enjoy a day at Muottas Muragl.The slope is steep and fast and after 2 rideswe went for lunch at the restaurant. Great food and views although it snowed heavely!The service was great and the offer is very big.
