Overall okay. Prices are too expensive, but you can tolerate that during the Christmas season. What's not possible is that we had to wait an hour for the first drinks and another 45 minutes for the food. I felt sorry for the two girls who served the drink. It definitely wasn't because of them. We can't understand how such a small team can manage everything at Christmas. Since the food couldn't make up for everything, that was probably the last time.
Rustikales Restaurant im Stadtzentrum von Bautzen. Es ist besser, am Wochenende vorher zu reservieren, da sonst die Plätze knapp werden. Das Bier vom Fass kostet etwa 5 Euro, die Speisen liegen bei etwa 18-23 Euro. Alles schmeckt köstlich und ist ausreichend portioniert. Parkplätze sind relativ schwer zu finden. Am besten parkt man sein Auto am Schützenplatz und geht die wenigen hundert Meter durch die engen Straßen von Bautzen.
The food here was an absolute disaster, I strongly do not recommend it. We had two types of soup and one main course and everything tasted like it came from a station stand. The waitress was trying to manage a full restaurant when the town was filled with Advent tourists. A big disappointment for us for the money. For €40, we would eat like royalty.
We ate in the mustard room for the second time and it was delicious again. We had, among other things, chestnut soup, mustard schnitzel and salad with chicken, mango mustard ice cream and delicious local beer. The service was nice and the atmosphere was quite nice. Freundlicher, aber nicht aufdringlicher Service, besonders zuvorkommend gegenüber Kindern (schönes Kinder-Menü). Wir mussten trotz voller Tische nicht lange auf das Essen warten, und das Essen war frisch, lecker und abwechslungsreich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
We recently had our company Christmas party in this restaurant. The food was excellent, the staff was great and very attentive, and the prices were also reasonable. All in all, absolutely recommended we'll be back! Many thanks from WOCKEN!
There's absolutely nothing to complain about here. Friendly service, nice atmosphere and very tasty food. We would be happy to come back on our next visit to Bautzen
