When stopping on a journey via Lampeter we always pop in here. The food is superb with locally sourced ingredients. We recently called in for a late breakfast. The bacon roll was substantial, of excellent quality. On previous occasions we have had cooked lunches, jacket potatoes, paninis or delicious home made cakes. The establishment is run by the church next door. The volunteers working here are so courteous and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A good sign is that so many local people meet up here and there was a group in a meeting room at the rear on our recent visit. A hive of activity in a popular venue. Well done to all involved with ‘The Mustard Seed’!
One of the highlights and a must of every family visit to Wales is lunch at the Mustard Seed. We love The Mustard Seed Special but have taken to sharing these to save room for their delicious homemade cakes and desserts. They have fabulous gluten free options too. I particularly love their Apple cake. Super friendly team and traditional tearoom environment makes every visit special.
Stopped off fırça break on a North to South Wales trip. Very, very friendly staff (Who I guess are volunteers). Everything home cooked from local ingredients. I had a wonderful vegetarian quiche my Dad had some mackerel which he said was excellent. No room left for the gorgeous looking cakes. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Lampeter. Quiet relaxing. Welcoming. And excellent food
A real pleasure to find a Christian bookshop and cafe in Lampeter. Greatly enjoyed their gluten free welsh cakes! Definitely be back for more of those. Really friendly service. Love the second hand bookshop in the back with a nice selection of welsh and English Christian books. Also some boxes of toys in the back so nice coffee stop off with a toddler. A group of 8 ladies bowled up for lunch without booking at 1.30. We were greeted with a smile, 3 table were pushed together to seat us all. We all enjoyed our meal.
Some of the best fresh food around, limited menu but thats to be expected with freshly prepard food from local sources
Tasty food, good service. Welsh speaking staff. Street parking in College Street. Highly recommended.
