We had a party of 14 and were assigned two waitresses for our table. My lemon pepper chicken was tasty, but the rice underneath was lacking in flavor. I ordered mac and cheese and a baked potato as sides, but instead received mac and cheese along with red beans and rice. I repeatedly inquired about the baked potato, and as I was finishing my meal, the waitress informed me it would take an additional 10 minutes. Instead of assuming I wanted red beans and rice, I should have been offered an alternative side.

I recently moved here and the food was incredible. However, I would have preferred to receive my entire order at once. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with a side salad, and while the Philly was amazing, I ended up waiting about five minutes for my salad. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but it was a bit frustrating. When my waitress came to bring me the check and I still hadn't received my salad, I mentioned it to her. She asked if I still wanted it, and of course I did. After a brief wait, a nice gentleman brought it to me and apologized for the delay. The food was really great, but I just wish the timing had been better.
The food is usually excellent, but on game night, there were no specials. The shrimp and grits were very dry, and the crawfish cheese dip was off. The pretzel was good, but I was disappointed because I was trying to watch the game and had to leave before it finished. They close at 9 PM, and if you’re going to call yourself a sports bar, you should let patrons watch the entire game. Also, the waiter was wearing short shorts, and his hairy legs were unappealing, especially compared to the other male waiters who were dressed in nice, appropriate shorts. Is there a dress code for the staff?
I sat at the bar, but the bartender was rarely around. After I got my drink and food, I wanted another drink but had to wait nearly 15 minutes for the bartender to return. By the time she came back and asked if I wanted anything else, I was already ready to leave. It seems like the staff has really declined; they seem more focused on smoking or their phones than on serving customers. There are a couple of bartenders, Melissa and Will, who are great, but I guess they were off today.

It was only fair. The dining area was quite cold, so I recommend bringing a sweater. I ordered the fried zucchini appetizer, which turned out to be very greasy. The beef kabobs were tough, and the vegetables were quite hard. On the other hand, my husband's grilled shrimp were good, and the red beans and rice were tasty. If you're looking for a better dining experience, do yourself a favor and head to Cedar Tree across the street for dinner—the food there is much better!
I asked for some cheese to put on my sandwich, but I was told they couldn't cut a slice because it might spoil, even though there was still an hour until closing time. The BBQ sandwich was just okay and tasted overly sweet, almost like it had sugar on it. The fries were decent, though. Overall, I wouldn't go back; I would have rather eaten at Burger King.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and an extensive menu. We ordered a few dishes: loaded fries, mango salsa shrimp tacos, and a chicken bacon wrap. When the food arrived, it looked quite appealing, but unfortunately, none of the items had any real flavor. They were all very bland. It's disappointing, especially given the menu's variety.
We really love this restaurant, but we seldom visit because there is only one handicap-accessible parking spot, and its slope is not compliant with legal standards.

What a wonderful spot to enjoy a drink and some food! The food is excellent, and the menu is fantastic. The bartender was absolutely charming as well.
