After recently moving into the area, we had low expectations when it came to finding a good local sushi spot that could compare to our favorite in our old neighborhood. However, our first experience ordering takeout from My Name Is Sushi exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be returning! Even though we only tried a small portion of the extensive menu with our large order, we were impressed with the variety of options available. The dishes, from sunomono salad to spicy gyoza to rolls, were all fresh and bursting with flavor. We ordered food from this restaurant again tonight. Everything was great! When we picked up the food, my daughter was given a lollipop. And to our surprise, there were free Goyzas in the bag too! Everything we ordered tasted delicious. We will definitely be ordering from here again. We ordered two basic rolls, one special California crunch roll with real crab, spicy Goyzas, and steak sauce. The rice was also yum! The prices were good too.
I do deliveries from nanaimo to vic and this is one of my favorite go to lunch spots. The sushi grade is 10/10 the tuna tastes like it was caught that morning. Owners are very friendly and it's got a great grab and go selection. My only complaint is they give u wings soy sauce. Wings is great soy but it's Chinese not Japanese, Kikkoman would be a better choice for sushi soy but still love this place : D
I ordered a takoyaki to go. The menu stated it would come with 5 pieces, but I only received 4. When I brought this to their attention, they informed me that the menu was incorrect. I know this place and always wondered what taste like. but seems suspicious looking restaurants for me, so I’ve never ordered till today. Now, I feel sorry for them I was thinking suspicious. They are really good! It’s no joking. my favourite sushi place in Langford from now on! Thanks MY NAME IS SUSHI!
The portion sizes of the nigiri were incredible! It had been a long time since I had such a generous serving. If you love sushi, this place is a must-visit. You will not be let down. In addition, the staff was fantastic and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
One of our go to spots! Dare I say, best sushi in Langford and always our first sushi choice. Love that it is family owned, the hostess is always so nice and the chef really cares for the quality and the presentation. Great price as well thanks for giving us great sushi

This is my go-to spot for lunch. The sushi is top-notch, the staff is very friendly, and it's a family-run business. The seating area is a bit limited, but it's perfect for takeout. On Fridays, they offer some of the best wings as a special.
