My friend and I went there today. We ordered a spicy beef soup and a ginseng chicken soup. Although the ginseng chicken is a bit overpriced, it tastes pretty good. However, the spicy beef soup is quite disappointing. It only has 2 small slices of beef which can be barely found and the soup itself is quite disappointing. Everything was fine until we saw a cockroach passed by our table. We saw another one on the wall later. My friend and I are not picky, but we don't enjoy eating with cockroaches for sure. Our experience here was some time back, but I'd thought it make a mention that if you have a craving for Korean BBQ but don't want your clothes to smell or are too lazy to DIY, these guys are willing to do it on a hot plate then bring it out. Taste to the meat was not lost, if anything we loved it. Waitress wasn't too verse in English but extremely accommodating to us as I believe most of their clientele are ethnic Koreans. I'd come here if I wanted to switch up between Jong Ga Jip.
The food at this restaurant is good and reasonably priced compared to other options in Eastwood. However, the service was a major disappointment. Both the owner and staff were extremely rude and arrogant.
