I ate at the NAAN restaurant in Barmbek and had a rather mixed experience. The burger was tasty and well prepared, but the sauces were used very sparingly. The Lotus Cheesecake looked visually appealing, but was disappointing in terms of taste as the cream predominated and the characteristic lotus flavor was hardly evident. A major point of criticism is the high prices for food and drinks. Normal soft drinks such as Cola or Sprite cost almost over five euros, which greatly affects the price-performance ratio. Delicious food, very attentive staff and good value for money. We had three main courses, which we shared between the two of us (we had the manti as a starter, which was also really tasty). The food arrived absolutely perfectly on time and sharing was no problem, not even with dessert. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself is nicely furnished and also offers enough options for larger groups. But when there are louder people, it can be a bit difficult to have conversations. But for us everything was at a moderate volume and pleasant. The price was absolutely reasonable for the amount of food (perfect portion sizes). I would happily come back and recommend it.
Die Verpackung der feuchten Torten könnte besser gestaltet sein. Sie war undicht und riss, was dazu führte, dass mein Equipment und andere Einkäufe nass wurden. Beim Pistazien-Baklava hatte ich zudem einmal das Pech, auf einen harten Kern zu beißen, was sehr schmerzhaft war. Sollte ich mir dabei einen Zahn abbrechen, würde ich rechtliche Schritte in Erwägung ziehen. Was Ihre Dubai-Schokolade betrifft – suchen Sie nach einem anderen Rezept oder einem anderen Technologen, denn sie ist wirklich ungenießbar. The tarts are actually very tasty and the team is friendly, especially the young woman who sells the cakes in Barmbek is super nice. However, I recently had a moldy cake, unfortunately there was no response to my complaint and no apology. I complained via email, social media and also on site and said that my cake was moldy, no response, no money back, no new cake. Too bad!
I ordered an iskender. I wouldn't recommend it. The meat wasn't the usual doner kebab, but rather a kofte, and the iskender has nothing to do with a real iskender. Perhaps they should have mentioned this on the menu; I would have chosen something else. The portions are small and the price is too high, but the mercimek soup was tasty and the portion was adequate.
Leider bin ich sehr unzufrieden. Die Mitarbeiter waren äußerst unfreundlich und völlig respektlos. Der Service war sehr schlecht. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen. Es wurde viel Geld ausgegeben, aber bedauerlicherweise wurde keine Qualität geboten.
