This is my favorite restaurant. The tacos are incredibly delicious, and the guacamole is freshly made from scratch. If you want, you can order the chips separately. Although the service isn't super quick, the wait is definitely worth it. I was surprised to see someone claim that the food is microwaved and inferior to Taco Bell. You can clearly watch the chefs preparing everything right in the kitchen. The flavors here are far more vibrant than at Taco Bell or at many other Mexican restaurants in the Midwest. The same owners have been managing this establishment since the 1990s, and they are always present, taking pride in their restaurant.

I had a fantastic experience at Nachomamas, largely due to the incredibly helpful manager. He generously offered me a gift certificate when I realized I didn't have my receipt, which I truly appreciated. He handled the situation with great professionalism and poise. If it had been the woman dealing with my concern, I would have only given one star. However, thanks to the manager's exceptional support, I'm happy to award a full five stars. I can't believe I waited so long to try this place! The service was fast and super friendly. The food was delicious, and the portions were quite generous. The menu features a great variety, including many vegetarian options. You can choose to eat outside, inside, or even use the drive-thru. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with classic music playing softly in the background. The restrooms were clean as well. This would be a fantastic choice for families with children. The food was disappointing! We ordered the chicken chimichanga, and it tasted like canned chili with green peppers—completely unappetizing. The taco was filled with a messy, sloppy Joe-like meat. The chips and queso were just a paper plate of chips covered with microwaved cheese. The total came to $30! It was definitely not worth it.
I was quite disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The portions were very small, not nearly enough to be satisfying, and the prices were rather steep. The amount of meat I got was just enough to barely fill a small tortilla. I won’t be coming back, and I’ll definitely be sharing my feedback with others.
This is an amazing place! The wait for a table can be a bit long during dinner, but it's definitely worth it. The tamales are some of the best I've ever tasted, and they smoke their own pork, which adds incredible flavor. Both the wet burrito and margarita were excellent classic choices!
