My husband and I come here when we want to satisfy our sushi/sashimi cravings. Living in Switzerland, the quality of the sashimi we get here isn't very fresh and the prices we have to pay are ridiculous. Even though the sushi is nowhere near as good as the ones I get in Sydney, this place is fairly decent compared to anything I can get in Switzerland (not to mention the waaaaay better prices). It's about 40Euros for two people. The staff are pretty friendly (I think it's run by a Chinese family) despite our lack of French. They were happy to exchange the octopus in our small sashimi boat for salmon, since we didn't like the octopus.
My wife, son his family and I were interested in Suchi and this restaurant was across the street from the hotel. We were all seated at the same table with no problems but waiting to get service when it was not busy was pretty bad. We ordered drinks but when they came they were not close to what we wanted but brought the right ones. When our food came out it was not very good for taste or looks but when everyone is hungry you have no choice to eat it especially when you have two young children. We would not recommend eating here to anyone. Pass it!!!
I decided to have sushi takeaway for the evening and arrived at the restaurant at around 8pm. A few tables were occupied my orders were taken quickly. I had a sushi, maki, sashimi mix which was alright I was a little surprised about the price as it's the same, if not more expensive than Paris (which I thought would be more expensive). The quality of food was alright so all in all it was okay. I'd probably come back for a sushi craving but also think I'd try a different sushi place in St Louis before returning.
We usually order from Nagoya once a week/ every two weeks and take away. Once in a while I go with friends and eat there as well. The food is always standard and the fish tastes fresh. This is not the fancy sushi restaurant you have in big cities with elaborate rolls but is reliable and good. It's the best cost-benefit I could find living in Basel where sushi is very expensive and usually not very good (unless you spend a LOT). The chicken noodles are a good choice as well.

I came here with the family, who love sushi, and went away feeling a little bit disappointed. The pictures they show show an abundance of salmon when reality rice wins the day. Masses of rice. I ordered the ginger and leek duck, that had leek but no ginger. It's ok. No more, no less.
The service was friendly, but the food was not good. My wife could not eat the meal that she was given. The restaurant is immediately opposite Aparthotel Adagio, but you should walk a little further and eat at le Palais d'Asie
Food is below average (too much rice, too little fish). Staff so not welcoming (noone came to ask if everything was ok) and service very slow. To be avoided.
Strait opposite of apart hotel Adagio, beside Swiss border. Service is very good, food is delicious and prices are reasonable, much cheaper than in Basel.

Asian food. Sushi was good taking into account the sea is far away. Quality is good and price cheap. Service really fast.
It is our favourite sushi's place in Basel area. Very nice sushi, good quality at a reasonable price.
