First of all, they suddenly decided that two people could not share a Thali (which is a fixed portion, not a buffet where sharing is unlimited). Up until today, they never cared whether we shared the Thali or not. If someone pays the bill, it shouldn't matter if one person or two people are eating it. Not everyone has the same appetite. They even suggested we take the Thali home to share, but we wanted to dine in. This time, they embarrassed us in front of family members who had just arrived from India and were very hungry after a lovely day out. They really ruined our happy time. India grill used to be our go to for takeout dinners but they have raised the price insanely high for what they serve . We haven 't dined in the restaurant since the pandemic began so I don 't know if the way/amount they serve food at the restaurant is different than takeouts. We always get the same items; butter chicken is a big bowl of sauce and just a few strips of chicken. Saag paneer quite watered down and just a few pieces of paneer. We are spending $70 on every takeout (used to be $50 for this exact items last year) to get very little food now. If the quality and quantity was like the past I would say it 's probably ok to treat ourselves to a delicious Indian dinner but it really does...
Our first experience at India Grill a couple weeks ago was fantastic! The food was wonderful. Our whole family enjoyed it especially the Lamb Biryani (one of the best I have ever tasted)! The service was friendly and yet very professional. The prices were pretty good considering the high quality of the food and service. We are heading back to India Grill tonight! Thank you!

Most flavorful tender and moist tandoori chicken ever served on a sizzling plate like fajitas. Chicken curry and yellow dal were delicious as was the garlic naan. Raita was flavorful. Service was friendly and attentive. Not a cheap night out but delicious.
I absolutely love India Grill—it's the best Indian food we've had in Laguna Niguel! I usually order the Lamb Rogan Josh, while my wife enjoys the Chicken Tikka Masala, and we always share some garlic naan. I highly, highly recommend this place!
The food is amazing! Suzanna was very helpful in guiding us to try some new dishes we hadn't experienced before. Both the service and the food were outstanding. The atmosphere is clean and pleasantly casual. I highly recommend this place!

The Indian food here is exceptional! I really enjoy the Asian fusion element. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We’ve definitely become regular customers and have already recommended it to a few friends!
