The atmosphere was incredible, the staff highly professional, quite humble and our server was wonderful . I really cannot say enough nice things about our server he may have singlehandedly made this the most transcendent experience for me, unfortunately we didn't get his name however we know he was one of the brothers that operates the restaurant. The food was quite sumptuous. I highly recommend this restaurant and it may very well supplant my current Indian restaurant.
A friend and I had lunch here the other day and it was really delicious. The pakoras were lovely and crunchy on the outside and nice and fluffy inside. Not at all greasy. The lamb dish was melt in your mouth tender and the paneer dish was rich and delicious. The garlic naan had everything I look for in naan. A bit crispy and chewy and buttery. The portions were a good size. Our server was very courteous and looked after us well.
The buffet is great value for the price you pay. Has many of the Indian staples you would expect, as well as a few twists to add more variety to the selection. Can't go wrong with most of the offerings available, and the plates help to retain the heat of the food longer than most places. This is my go to Indian restaurant due to the price and convenience near downtown Edmonton, wholeheartedly recommended.
First time having tandoori chicken and I’m addicted already. A little spicy with lots of flavour. Lamb biryani was spicy enough to make me sweat and the lamb was very tender. At first glance the aloo palak looks unappetizing, take a bite and it tastes delicious, also a perfect pair with spicy dishes to put out the fire on your tongue. My recent trip to India left me craving the same atmosphere and flavors, so I decided to try this restaurant. The menu had a great selection and the service was friendly and attentive. We were seated at a private table in the back and felt very comfortable. This was my second visit and I will definitely be returning in the future.
Namaste is a restaurant that puts time and effort into preparing and serving food. The dishes are hot, delicious, and come in a wide variety. The atmosphere is also lots of fun! The Host made sure we were happy with our food and service. We celebrated two birthdays there and had a great time the whole evening. Thank you!
Server was very friendly and made sure we were happy with the spice level of our dishes. We got the coconut fish curry, baingan bharta, and palak paneer. Dishes, rice and naan all came in good-sized portions. Place was clean and comfortable! Would definitely recommend :
