this place is etched in my memory. I remember the first time I came here five years ago. I ordered the tofu steak, nasu dengaku among a few others. I always have the tofu steak every time I come back. the sushi is fresh and there is a great choice. it is a family-run restaurant in walking distance from baker street. they can eat at the Sushi counter on a bar stool and see how the sushi is prepared or they can sit at the table in the main restaurant. the prices are reasonable and it is one of these classic restaurants where it is just for good reliable food. they will therefore find that people come for business dinners, students, tourist and local japaners all eat here.
We had a lovely date night at Nambu-Tei for our anniversary. They had good services with lovely staff members. I especially enjoyed the tempura and sashimi platter. I also love the miso soup on the side which was served with the eel rice bowl. However, I probably expected the sushi rice should be more flavourful in another way. Overall, this is one of the best restaurant for people who would like to try authentic Japanese foods with reasonable price in a relaxing atmosphere.
Yet another gem! This restaurant belongs among the elite Japanese dining establishments in London. I noticed many similarities with Asakusa, which were confirmed by one of the senior waiters. However, the ambiance, service, and presentation are all superior here, which reflects in the higher prices. Overall, it's top-notch!

Tucked away on Baker Street is a truly authentic Japanese restaurant. The attentive staff provided quick service and the delicious food left me satisfied. Expect to spend around £60 per person for a dinner experience here.
delicious. good selection of Japanese authentically arranged. by small, fresh sashimi, udon set. also the choices of the sakes and the choshu. this is a sukiyaki pot that has fresh vegetables and thin slices of bark meat.
The restaurant serves genuine Japanese cuisine. I enjoyed all the dishes, especially the thickly cut sashimi. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning for more Japanese food.
