Thank god for the thunderstorm, torrential downpour and lightning, as otherwise we would have overlooked this fantastic restaurant which was right next to our hotel. The produce is seasonal and...fresh. The core ingredients simple, but by the hands of the chef, turned into lovely mouthfuls of deliciousness with consideration given to each item on the plate. So...so....so....Good. The owner of this small little gem was lovely too, really helpful with explaining the foods (the bits Google translate couldn't handle) and helping with our wine choice. We went in while visiting Paris and I can tell you as an American not speaking the language I sometimes hesitate to go in to some places. But this place is extraordinary. The staff is very helpful and will walk you through the ordering. They...make you feel comfortable and at ease. Now the food is truly amazing and affordable. I would highly recommend this place!!!
