After a days travelling we stopped at Nana's at about 20.15 and it looked as if it was the only place open and we were hungry. With my Aunt and her family i wanted to enjoy the nice atmosphere at the harbor of Lindau. So i rang up the Nana team an reserved a table outside . Arriving at the restaurant they told me, that they have the table upstairs on the...terrace great. That 's the best view. We had a table directly at the front with a perfect view over the arriving and leaving vessels. But soon after we ordered our dinner, they started to clean the remaining desks and prepare for closing at 19:30. The service even did take care when our glasses were empty. That 's when i decided to not stay for a good ice cream (which they really have).
Nana is situated on the waterfront and is a great place to stop for a drink and watch the world go by. The outside tables have large sun umbrellas and offer a 'front row seat ' for views of the Barvarian Lion and Lighthouse. We were...drawn in by the sign advertising milkshakes and I wasn 't disappointed; delicious and generous in size! The service for placing our order was prompt and our drinks were brought out shortly after, but we found it a little difficult to catch the eye of a staff member when we wanted to settle the bill it 's also worth noting that payment is by cash only.

Während unserer zwei Wochen in Deutschland war dies mit Abstand unser schlimmstes gastronomisches Erlebnis. Als der Kellner es endlich wagte, aufzuhören, mit seinen Freunden an anderen Tischen zu plaudern, nahm er brüsk unsere Bestellung auf. Das Essen wurde ohne Servietten, ohne Besteck, ohne Beilagenteller und ohne Salz und Pfeffer auf den Tisch gestellt. Und es schmeckte, als wäre es direkt aus der Tiefkühltruhe des örtlichen Supermarktes gekommen. Ja, es liegt am Wasser (am Fährterminal für die Dieselfans), aber eine Aussicht ist nicht alles.
With the late October sunshine lighting up the whole harbour area this is one of a number of quayside eateries that allow you to sit and enjoy the view across the lake. We ordered the Flammkuchen which were delicious and accompanied by coffee and tea....There is a choice of salads, pasta, pizza and steak dishes with a good choice of wines, beers or soft drinks as desired. The service was friendly and all served within a decent timeframe and so couldn't fault this. Sound if not spectacular.
Absolut fantastischer Zander in einer wunderschönen Tomatensauce. Eines der besten Gerichte, die ich in Deutschland gegessen habe, und eines der wenigen Male, an denen ich Gemüse außer Kartoffeln gesehen habe. Der Blick von der Terrasse über den Hafen mit den Alpen im Hintergrund ist...unübertroffen.
