This place was good, but can be even better. The service was very good, I dont recall our waiters name, but he was a young guy with wearing a hat. The bartender was also attentive to us even though we were not at the bar. Should be noted that place was dead, which had me concerned, luckily the food was good. We ordered 4 drinks, 2 apps, 2 entrees and a dessert for $147, so I felt it was reasonably priced. The portions were of average size. Everything we ordered was good; Buffalo Shrimp and Pork Nachos (nachos were different and plated beautifully). Entrees were gnocchi with shredded pork and pork chop with spaetzle, both very good. As a former male who had eaten great meals here in the past, today I was disappointed enough to publish a review. I asked for a spinach salad with goat cheese and grilled chicken. The chicken was crushed in Pesto sauce, which I am not a fan at all. The owner who was our waitress just said the cook? so to grill. Really? And when we got our bill, I was charged?extra? for the goat cheese, even if it was part of other salads, and additional 4% for the credit card. Would you have been grateful if the owner who served us to mention something of it before. Unfortunately, as much as I love to support small businesses, this is now a hard pass for me. ?
This is one of the best places on Long Island! It's a family owned business that cares about the food and service. The feel is very homey and welcoming. The food is always fresh and delicious. The pasta here is better than in Italy. I've come on different occasions, it's perfect for large parties as well. The price point is great for the food they service. Don't overlook this hidden jem. I?ll give to Nancy?s restaurant 5 starts ! I did my son 1st year birthday party at Nancy?s and it was more than I dreamed. The owner Vicky since day one was so nice and helpful with me and my husband, if you are looking for a place to make your party Nancy?s is a really good option! The food is delicious, wine is delicious, the place is really nice .
Was part of a group of about 50 patrons on Sunday 8/6/23. Service was excellent for such a large group. After everyone arrived, service was fast and efficient. Food was very good. I have never had a bad experiance at Nancy's. Their pork chop is amazing and has been my go-to the last two times there. Staff is friendly and very attentive. The simple fact that Nancy's has been around for so long says it all. They occasionally have live entertainment and the double sided fireplace in the middle of the dining area is a real treat.
Perfect place to go when you get away from crowds and just want that yo enjoy a fabulous meal. I'm addicted to her pork chops and roasted mussels.
They box it so the fries don?t get soggy. The portions are huge. The taste and quality of the chicken sandwich and burger were on point.
