we arrived at 5pm and it was very quiet,i ordered the classic chicken burger with lettuce and tomato with a side of chips..which was fine till it arrived,,the chicken itself was ok but the bun was inedable,brickhard,the chips were cold ,they forgot the tomato and my drink! went to order my husbands,a half roast chicken with a drink and a side..to be told there were no chicken on the bone left! we were too hungry to leave so he ordered the same as me with the same problems! even forgetting his drink also!! as for the price we were charged £22 for a bit of chicken each and some cold chips! shocking! for a lot less money we could went next door to prezzo, and have a lovely warm filling meal !,,...
We booked this restaurant for a 40th birthday it was ridiculous. They were aware that there was a large party arriving. Instead of allocating one staff member to deal with us. The staff were dealing with us along with other diners, walk-ins and take aways. They were run off their feet. We had a choice of booking our meals individually thus being served them at different times or a member of the family took the order then ordered and paid for them. Which is what happened. The meal was a disaster by the time everyone was served the ones who received their meals first were halfway through theirs before the last ones were served. Visited Nando’s in Intu Breahead (Not Soar) and it was a little disappointing. Normally we always go to Soar for a Nando’s as so far the best for 10 miles. Tried Intu Breahead for a change. Service was 3 star. No glasses given for drinks. A trainee was being trained but not once did they smile or look enthused. Dinner arrived, got the usual, full platter with 4 sides. Chicken was ok, peas were over wet and mash was dried out. Corn on the cob was served, without butter, and was dry and burned. We would have sent it back but we had already had to get replacement plates as they were dirty with actual food encrusted on them and rough to touch. My experience at Nando's was disappointing. Despite there being empty tables, we were told we had to wait half an hour for a table. After finally being seated in a half-empty restaurant, I ordered the half chicken but requested two leg pieces instead of a breast piece, as I usually do at other Nando's locations. However, the staff insisted I could only have one leg and one breast. This inconsistency in policy left me frustrated. The food was average, but the service was subpar. I was very disappointed with the service from a specific staff member named Adam at this restaurant. He looked my family and me up and down, gave us a snide look, and had a unfriendly attitude towards us. I understand that staff can be under pressure in the hospitality industry, but his attitude completely ruined our evening. As a single mother with children to support, we were hoping to enjoy a nice meal between Christmas and New Year's, but Adam's behavior was off-putting and upsetting. I will not be returning to this restaurant due to this negative experience.
Popped in with a friend for lunch but was worried as I’m vegan and I know Nando’s don’t have a set vegan menu. The waitress helped me turn a vegetarian meal into a vegan one. She really went above and beyond looking into every tiny ingredient to make sure it was ok for me to eat, she really went above and beyond without being asked and I appreciated it so much. Brown haired girl and kind of petite, a credit to the restaurant.
Arrived at 6.25 pm just about to be seated by a nice young man when a rude surly staff member runs up to our group to say “we stop serving at 6.30”. My husband replies “it’s 6.25”. Her reply: “not on my watch”. What a dreadful attitude from ‘Kt’. Your clearly in the wrong job deary!
15 yr old daughters pick for a family birthday lunch and it turned out to be a great choice. Good table and seating, nice atmosphere and surprisingly good menu to choose from. Food was very good and the staff even sang to my daughter which was a special touch. Will be back Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Recent visit chicken wasnt cooked the best. Chips we were given around 10 each and my boyfriend got a half portion of peas. Love nandos but this is not the best franchise
