As we arrived we noticed it was a little busy but that there were ample seats and booths available and politely asked if it were possible we could be seated there as we had bags with us. The response was a passive aggressive worker telling us those booths are for six people when there was clearly a couple already sitting in one of the booths. The customers prior to us were a family of two with a small child and they had been directed to the even bigger booths so that further debunked her statement. This worker then walked away leaving me and my friend wondering what 's going on? The worker returned after 20seconds and reluctantly obliged and said eh I guess you can sit there in a rude tone....
I had an amazing experience at Nando's for a recent family celebration dinner! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, and the service was top-notch. Our server was attentive and made sure that our experience was enjoyable. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and was perfect for our special occasion. One of the most shambolic Nando’s ever. Staff spend all of their time faffing and talking to one another rather than their job. I tried to place an order for collection, but their online system wasn’t working so I was forced to go into the store to place an order to takeaway. I waited more than 15 minutes to order. Even though only one till was open, the woman serving spent half her time in the kitchen talking to other staff, doing absolutely nothing to clear the queue. I wouldn’t have wasted 15 minutes waiting if they told me that when I was waiting to be directed. What a waste. I should emphasise the staff failing to do their job is a regular occurrence. The restaurant has really declined in cleanliness; the floors are dirty and the restrooms are pretty unpleasant. The dishes had a strong odor. It's shocking to see how it has fallen from a 5-star establishment to such a state. I visited on Father's Day and noticed they left the keys in the main door. When I alerted them, I received no thanks in return. The overall condition of the place was chaotic. It must be due to an ineffective new manager! On a positive note, the rest of the staff were excellent—friendly and helpful. However, Ruby's management was a low point for my visit. We spent £107.95, and I used my Army discount of 20%, which should have brought the total down to £86.34. Instead, I ended up paying £103.95. That’s only a £4 discount, which doesn’t seem right at all. When I asked for an explanation, Ruby remained unhelpful and rude. Overall, I was left feeling quite dissatisfied.
It was quiet when we went. Found ourselves a table as noone greeted and seated us. The manager seemed to take offence to this in an empty restaurant. I think they need to be more non it and then I wouldn't feel the need to seat myself. There was no atmosphere apart from the frosty from the manager definitely not my favourite branch. Food was fine.
I mostly order for collection but every time I go collect my food I'm really disappointed with the portion they give in this specific branch. There should be standard for how much food they give, if they don't have enough at least inform the customer and offer to give them something else instead. It is really unfair that people do these things.

I had a fantastic experience with my family today! The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was cozy and peaceful, perfect for enjoying our meal and chatting. The restaurant was very clean, and the food was amazing, as always! I hope it remains just as clean and delightful in the future!
