Nanglo Cafe - Tisch resevieren

I dined here two nights in a row and the food is excellently prepared, showcasing authentic cooking that truly reflects the local Nepalese community. It's always a great sign when a place is busy, and I noticed that many diners were taking home large portions. While I found the servings to be quite generous—perhaps more than I could handle—this is just an observation, not a complaint. The staff is primarily Nepalese, which led to a bit of a language barrier, but I expected that and it wasn't an issue at all. The prices are on the higher side, but overall, I am very happy with my experience.

This restaurant offers incredibly tasty food in a friendly and clean environment, with a wonderful atmosphere. The value for money is excellent, and the portions are generous, featuring fresh ingredients. My experiences here have consistently been enjoyable, with a higher quality of authentic cuisine compared to many other local eateries I’ve tried. It can get quite busy, making the space feel a bit cramped, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're lucky enough to secure a seat.

Love the food and atmosphere feels like I'm in a small Newari family restaurant, in the streets of Thamel. The wait for the food is worth it as everything is cooked fresh and tastes delicious. Highly recommend their jhol momo and alu paratha! Big ups to mama and his team/family for working so hard.

Naglo's food is consistently delicious. The alu paratha, alu nimki, and jhol mo:mo are must-try dishes on the menu. The seating area is small, but they also offer takeaway options.

The muted momo tastes just like the ones you enjoy at home. Pair it with a chilled Nepali beer, like Gurkha or Kathmandu, for a perfect experience.

Delicious food! I highly recommend the Aloo Tikki Chaat. The only downside is that the service can be quite slow.
