What an absolute embarrassment of an establishment. Bought a Pepsi from the very front of their fridge earlier today only to start drinking it and discover it expired in August 2022 after realizing its foul taste. If the owner is reading this, I highly recommend checking the dates for all drinks currently in possession. Selling beverages that have expired well over a year ago is just sad and a few dollars I'm never getting back. The food itself was fine but I'm surprisingly annoyed over this ordeal. Never once in my life have I bought an expired drink like this.
Avoid this restaurant at all costs! My family and I had a terrible experience here. The meat was undercooked, the fish was spoiled, and our order was incorrect three times. The food seemed like reject items from Costco. It took over an hour to receive our food, even though the restaurant was not busy. The chef was disrespectful to the staff. The only positives were the friendly waitresses and the decor with mounted fish. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. This place does not deserve your patronage.
I recently tried Napanee Fish Chips for the first time and I was extremely satisfied. I got takeout so I can't comment on the service and ambiance, but the food was fantastic. I ordered the open-faced turkey sandwich and it was delicious. The portions were generous, the food was hot and tasted homemade, and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning!
Last night's dinner, excellent halibut. The dinner we each ordered was the halibut with a 1/2 order each of fries and Cole slaw. Don't believe it. A large piece of delicious halibut, the side of Cole slaw is the same as you would find in most restaurants. The food is fantastic, whether it be fish and chips or another item from their large and varied menu. Nice people and atmosphere.Parking: Large number of parking spaces as it's located in a plaza. Parking is plentiful.
Great fish and chips, tried both the hail but and cod? Fish and chips, it was great. The portions are generous and even if the place is full the service is fast. Yum!
