- We live very close, and upon finding another dining choice at door step booked. We liked that we could walk to and not drive for change, and the promise of a new italian experience.- Arrived on a recent Saturday night @ 710pm;- Meet, and greet was fine from staff. All good ;- Nice little treat of giving us a starter as freebie, I did notice that portion size was tiny at this point;- Order a Calzone piza, main pasta dish, Italian beer and glass of red ;- service and dishes arrived really quick;- But.. We were eager to try this restaurant as it is near where we live & word of mouth it was worth trying. We were also pleased it had relaxed its policy on BYO. We greeted by a nice waitress who had great knowledge of the menu and was attentive, she also explained the specials.We chose a Bufala Pizza, Spaghetti vongole, Rocket salad to share.The pizza was lacking substance, the tomato on the base was watery and tasteless which made the pizza soggy in the middle,it was almost like tinned tomato straight out of the tin put on the base, the best part was the Bufala but the crust was ruined by the floating wet tomato, most certainly not what we would call a sauce.The spaghetti vongole was ok but lac...

Tucked away in Mortlake, Napule is not your average Italian Restaurant. We were greeted by Vanessa (every restaurant needs a Vanessa - never have I seen someone who has such a passion for their job!!) and we were introduced to their menu.. not your average menu (no bolognese, boscaiola or tiramisu in sight.. ), but an array of interesting and unique delights awaited us.. We shared the sardines, octopus, the pork chin strap pizza, followed by some delicious pizza and pastas .. the stand out for me was the ragu.. amazing!! Excellent Italian food here, with menus, while basically Neopolitan, ranging over the different regions of Italy on special menu nights. You can now bring your own wine- essential in a local restaurant. Lovely pastas and risottos, mussels with white beans is a standout and a selection of mains featuring particularly tasty meat dishes. We made a spur of the moment decision to visit Napule for dinner and, following a faultless dining experience, we will definitely be returning on a regular basis.The food, service and wine were impeccable and the staff went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our dining experience.If you are looking for a higher class, authentic Italian dining experience I highly recommend Napule.

Mothers Day dinner with family. Fantastic service by the very knowledgable Vanessa. We tried all of the PICCOLA FRIGGITORIA and the Focaccia all’aglio for starters and then went on to Bufala, Calzone and Gamberi pizzas with a Rucola salad for mains and one of the specials of the day Bottarga. We were impressed by the food and will come back for more. Highly recommended

This Italian restaurant has excellent food and a wonderful and friendly staff . I have now eaten here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. If you are looking for a great place to eat this is it , try it, you will love it .
