We booked a table for 7 people at 8:15pm, all locals. Earlier in the evening the restaurant to see if we wanted to come earlier at 8pm because they'd "released" earlier tables. I said OK. But as it was not possible to get everyone there earlier we only arrived at 8:30pm, 15 minutes after booking time. The restaurant was 2/3 empty. We were greeted by Jeremy, a hyperactive, unfriendly front of house person, who immediately informed us that we were 1/2 an hour late. We were then informed that we had exactly 28 minutes to order, and had to be out in 58 minutes because they'd spontaneously decided to close 1/2 an hour early at 9:30pm instead of 10pm tonight due to "being quiet". Dinner with the fam about a week ago. Son decided to shout us all on a Friday night. Reservation easy and table service quick. I've been to the original Como venue and was disappointed that the menu didn't seem as comprehensive. However food was tasty, well presented and portion sizes generous. The beef Rendang was very tasty, not too spicy but the meat could have been a little more tender. Yet to beat The Malaya in Pitt St Sydney for their Beef Rendang outside of Malaysia that is. I've eaten a fair bit of greasy, stringy roti in my day but the Nasi Lemak version was soft, tender and flaky- delicious! Prices reasonable and we'll definitely be back.
When you arrive at this Restaurant you aren't greeting with "Good Evening" - you are immediately greeted with "Do You Have a Reservation" - we did. With a group of four we ordered a variety of dishes two didn't arrive at all. The Wait Staff were pleasant and accommodating but tonight the food let them down - none of the Main Meals were Hot! In fact they were cold - the Entrees were fine - given two items just didn't arrive we didn't bother to complain about the cool/cold Mains. Disappointing in that it is nice to be able to walk to a local Restaurant - would we go back? I doubt it.
We went here for a friends leaving dinner. Good atmosphere, and although very busy, friendly and efficient service. Well prepared and tasty food, and it does not cost an arm and a leg. Large portions - we could not finish everything. The tasting plate starter was really good, the beef rendang was tender and full of flavour. Their house salsa is a must try. BYO with a bottle-o around the corner. Well worth a visit, highly recommended.

My daughter booked for us to eat breakfast here on Mother's day. I must admit we were expecting nasi goreng or roti, and we were a little surprised that the only savoury item was a Western style cooked breakfast. My daughter and I opted for the coconut pancakes and pandan French toast - both delicious. The cooked breakfast looked pretty good too. Great and friendly service.
Dinner for 15 (8 adults, 7 kids) was great. Staff were helpful with ordering suggestions, and nothing was too much trouble. We had an early booking for dinner so were in and out before the rush. Food was excellent, and really well priced. Had read some mixed reviews but couldn't fault the place on our first visit. Its all about expectations and they exceed mine!
Yum yum yum. This is a place that I will go back to again and again. The Sharing Plate was sublime. We also had a Mee Goreng Mamak. We thought we wouldn't be able to fit it in but we did. It was too good to leave on the table. Our bill came to $50 which included $8 for corkage. I'll be back.
Went in on a busy Saturday night very early. Had some noodles and satay. The taste was very nice. It did take a long time to cook the noodles, abnormally long. But the taste was very nice.If you don't mind waiting this is a good place. Not expensive either.
