Unfortunately, my recent experience at the Nassau Inn was marred by several significant issues that I feel compelled to share. Firstly, there were persistent problems with housekeeping. Despite not having a do not disturb sign on my door, I had to repeatedly request fresh towels and even then, the room wasn't cleaned properly, with the trash can often overlooked. Additionally, my experience with the elevators was alarming. I was trapped for close to 20 minutes without any assurance or follow-up about my well-being from hotel staff, which was distressing. Charming and classically designed inn with a touch of "old money" aesthetic. Due to its historical significance, the rooms may not be very spacious, but this is characteristic of many similar quaint and cozy inns. Just a neutral observation, not meant to be seen in a negative light.
